I don't get the negative reviews of Domaine Faverot - they're completely at odds with our own experience, which was altogether pleasant and exactly what we'd hoped for, i.e. authentic, rustique, charming, surrounded by lush vineyards, with two extremely attentive managers (June and Marie) who prepared two wonderful group meals for us during our week's stay. Our cottage was well-equipped...

We just got back from staying for two weeks at Domaine Faverot and cannot say enough good things about it!! Our hosts were warm and welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed. The domaine is part of a working winery and we enjoyed watching some of the harvest while we were there. Our cottage was spacious, with complete...

We first stayed at the Domaine in 2013 when Sally Faverot and her husband where the owners/managers. We loved it so much that we returned in July 2016 - what a disappointment. It turns out that a corporation had bought the place and had gone through several property managers. The place now feels like it has been neglected by an...

This comment is amazing. As managers we are really astonished (not to say astounded) by the statements we are reading, coming from these friendly clients we deal with every day. We recently had with them some pretty nice conversations by the pool (which is actually cleaned all day long by the cleaner to guarantee a crystalline water, in spite of...

A day after we arrived sewage started to overflow from the septic tank in front of our property. I reported it but it took 4 days to sort out. It meant we had to walk past raw sewage and had to cope with the smell of it outside and inside the property. On the day it was fixed we effectively...

My husband and I stayed at Domaine Faverot at the beginning of January for two nights and cannot speak highly enough of the welcome, the ambience and the lovely cottage. We were visiting the area on 'A Good Year' trail( Peter Mayle's book of the same name and since a movie directed by Ridley Scott) and wanted to visit some...

I stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment (they really are not cottages) and appreciated the cleanliness, the good quality linen, the equipment in the kitchen and the simple Provencal decor. I will be back to enjoy it again next year and hope that the lovely caretakers Anna and Guillaume are still there.

We were 2 South African couples who stayed at Domaine Faverot in Sept 2014. Our stay was perfect and unforgettable! This is the reasons why: 1. This place not only looked actually like the photos online but better! 2. A warm welcome from Anna and her partner going out of their way to give us advise and settling in. They...

As others have already noted, Domaine Faverot has been in new hands since around Easter time. Reading other submissions the owner is either Patricia Alexandre, who was our first port of call, or Anna Cassazza, who processed our final payment and was there to greet us along with partner Guillaume. Whatever the names, the people we met and dealt with...

When you say Provence you are thinking of lavender fields, vineyards, olive groves, sunshine, blue sky, magical little villages, an atmosphere of magic. We chose Domaine Faverot for all these things. And the choice proved to be the best. Situated between the vineyards, with a wonderful view, with olive trees and lavender, Domaine Faverot is farmhouse restored in four charming...

We have recently returned from another wonderful trip to Europe. Our holidays begun in Maubec, at the Domaine Faverot. It was to be the base for our 2-week vacation in the Provance and to tour the Luberon and surroundings.Together with another couple, we had booked the “Murier” cottage with Sally Faverot de Kerbrech (the now former owner) in Nov., 2013....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The four beautifully restored rental cottages are situated on the Winery estate in their own private wing. The Domaine was established in 1998 in an old XVIII century stone farmhouse. Encircled by it's own vines, some of which were planted nearly a hundred years ago. There is also an infinity pool in which, when you swim, you have the view of the vines and in the distance the Luberon countryside and hills, and Gordes, on of the most pituresque perched villages of the Luberon. ... more   less
