Going there for an overnight each year I realize I am eagerly impatient to visit there. The Erfgoed is keeping its good looks and even improving steadily. The rooms with the huge bed up in the loft are kept in a carefully arranged state of soft lighting and artistically disposed artifacts and books. You will never be bored in your...

Drenthe, the rural Dutch province close to the border with Germany where this B&B is situated, is famous for its dedicated cycling paths. It also offers ideal walking conditions on flat terrain. Your hosts will gladly assist with making plans. This is an ideal place for lovers of nature and tranquillity, and people who want to get away from the...

We stayed three nights in the Entskamer, whilst attending thr MotoGP in Assen. What a fabulous place. I can't speak highly enough of the hosts, Henk and Simone, who prepared wonderful, colourful and creative breakfasts, a different one each morning, served in their spacious and interesting dining room or the lovely manicured garden. . Their skills in hospitality would be...

We spent one night at the Buytenhof last week. It is my second visit and although nearly two years have past between visits this remains a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are quiet, the bed is really comfortable and I like the little kitchen. I have food allergies so this gave me the chance to cook for myself. Henk...

Henk and Simone are perfect hosts. Also a compliment to son Ralph who gave us a tour in this beautiful B & B. The bedroom (de Dars), the breakfast room and garden, these are all gems. The breakfast was described as "three courses", and it was delicious. We really have enjoyed it. Zweeloo itself is a nice village. Close to...

I don't know if you really should call this a hotel. This is more like your dream home, where all you wished to have in your house has been magically realized. The location: in a lovely part of Zweeloo with old beech trees you will find the Buytenhof, a typical dutch villa set in an extensive manicured garden. It is...

We stayed here for the second time and like last year we very much enjoyed the personal touch of the owners Simone and Henk. Clean, well equipped apartments, well suited for self catering are a treat to stay in. The lovely garden, very well maintained, is there for relaxation and tranquility. The breakfast prepared each day by Simone and served...
