I understand that this hotel has recently been taken over, so don’t know if any changes are impending. As it stands, there was very little to find fault with, staff friendly and extremely hard working. Food and drinks were plentiful and of a good quality with different choices each day, including a good selection of local dishes. All areas were kept extremely clean. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis and linen changed. Bathroom shower is slightly small, but adequate. On the whole a very enjoyable week. Grounds of hotel are large, a good pub crawl in afternoon without leaving hotel and beach and three pools for swimming.

An American widow on a Mission , that's me. My husband passed away before we can check this trip off our Bucket List. I came here not ready to be surprised by the excellent service we were provided with . From the time we checked in , all the way through the check out , we received nothing but excellent service from all the staff at this hotel with special mentions to their Guest Relations Manager, Maria Karouzaki and their Manager at their Main Restaurant. They are all GREAT. The daily buffet is to die for. We will come in the Main Resto always excited to see what they have prepared that will surprise us.... everyday was special... not just the food but also the staff who always greeted us with a smile , always patient, always ready to help and made us feel like royalty. There's 5 of us in our group, myself and my 2 sisters (from Luxembourg) and their husbands. We were unable to schedule a trip to Santorini from Heraklion coz we were kind of talked out of it . But I was feeling miserable coz I didn't want to leave Greece without seeing Santorini coz it would feel like a wasted trip to me. Two days before we were to leave , I decided to go to the Front Desk and asked about a trip to Santorini coz I felt I just have to give it a try . Maria , the kind Guest Relations Mgr. pulled some strings and made it possible to get a reservation for the 5 of us to visit Santorini... How amazing was that? At the end of the day , we came back to our hotel, tired but happy especially me coz this trip was an homage to my late husband and I have Maria K to thank for. This meant so much to me , so thank you , Maria and all of the Agapi Beach Resort staff . You are all Wonderful and wishing you all more success in the future . We absolutely loved our stay at Agapi! The resort is a little oasis in the middle of the city. The ocean view room is worth the upgrade. Every single staff member that we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. The food in the main dining room was excellent, with so many options! Taka Taka was a fun place for lunch or an afternoon snack. Gizelle, Rena, and all the ladies at Aegeo Spa were fantastic. We had a great couples massage the day before we left to come home. Jannis (pronounced with a "Y") runs the store onsite, and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. He gave us some great tips on things to do and see while we were there, not just in Heraklion but the whole island. We will definitely stay here again!!

Left with a heavy heart. As my reviews are always frank and honest. I can agree that looking at the photos on their website as far as the rooms are concerned is a lottle misleading. Furniture is tired and the shower was barely adequate. No aircon this time of year for us poor brits who consider 22° as high summer, they still have it turned to heat. BUT.. the investment in the bones of the place is clear in selected materials and the location has views of paradise. The staff are lovely, the food is varied and copious and if you go fully comp pretty much everything is covered. Towels are fluffy, linen is crisp and water supplied when the room is made up. Products are natural and add to the spa feeling of the place. The list of facilities are endless. Will be going back and when we came to leave I honestly shed a tear. …

Extremely relaxing service. Anastasia, Rena, Nikos and Spireta in the spa team were excellent. Very kind and professional. I would definitely recommend to visit this spa :) The atmosphere was very relaxing and they're very kind, asking if everything is ok so the massage is best for you .
