We stayed here for 3 nights in January, in the Jr. suite with a "volcano view". It is definitely a jaw-dropping view. Even though Arenal was not actively erupting while we were there, it will remain an experience that will not be matched by any other part of our Costa Rican trip. And when the volcano was shrouded in clouds,...

The hotel is located almost in the rainforest and that sounds excellent and very romantic! Well kind of it is. But there are some drawbacks and the biggest one is the road that leads to it. Horrifying 6 miles that shake you like hell. It's a 20 min drive........ Otherwise it is OK. The view is awesome from almost every...

After a long day of international travel, we arrived to Linda Vista and felt immediately refreshed. The grounds were beautiful and the whole facility was clean. The rental car arrangements that we made fell through and the staff, especially Brian, really went out of their way to set up taxis and tours last minute. They also had guest computers so...

My husband and I stayed at Linda Vista on a recommendation from a friend. It's definitely worth the stay although if i were to ever return, i'd probably wouldn't stay there again due to the location. Pros: We stayed at the honeymoon suite (got a reduced rate due to all other rooms being booked). It has an amazing view of...

When we checked into Linda Vista we were greeted by a wonderful staff and we were looking forward to a great stay. We were given the key to junior suite #28. When we arrived at the suite and opened the door we could not believe our eyes. It is by far the worse room/suite I have ever seen. It had...

The hotel was splendid. It was located on top of a hill overlooking the Arenal Volcano and the lake. It is done with so much class and taste, a little escape from the busy La Fortuna. The pool and hot tub overlooked the lake adding a little extra to the experience. It was quite costly to taxi from the hotel...
