This hotel stayed in my memory from the TV show running on German TV. It's a competition between hotel owners ("Mein himlisches hotel" on VOX TV). That was some time ago & after watching a show I thought to myself: "Now, this is where I'd love to come once." And, I did. My business trip brought me there. It was...

Sleeping more than 120 nights a year abroad, I'm always very happy when I have to come back to Ritter Hotel. Great staff, rooms, breakfast and has all facilities you need: it doesn't matter if you travel for business, romantic, short or long stay.

Absolutely charming little hotel. A good location to explore the Black Forest and the surrounding wine country. The hotel itself is within easy reach of trails snaking through the nearby vine yards. A cute little brook burbles alongside the road in front of the hotel. Rooms were small, but modern and very clean. The area was very quiet and peaceful....

We stayed at Hotel Ritter Durbach for three nights while visiting Durbach for a wedding. Service was spectacular across the board for the duration or our stay (even before our arrival when I realized I had booked the wrong dates!). The location cannot be beat, Durbach is one of the most picturesque and gorgeous German towns I've been to. We...

The hotel is in part modern and very cleverly designed to make the best use of space. However it has loads of character and even the basic rooms are comfortable and generously sized. The staff are awesome, not least the concierge who not only looked like Clerk Kent's more handsome brother but carried all the bags that two of us...

One of the best breakfast I have had in a Hotel. Excellent continental breakfast with great bread, cheeses, different types of ham, salmon, muesli, yogurt, fruits etc. You can also order boiled or fried eggs with ham or bacon (included in price). Coffee was good, and orange juice tasted like it was freshly squeezed. You could even make your own...
