Great hotel with friendly staff. Music at the bar was always great. Yanis and Joseph at the bar are 2 great guys and always attentive. We had a studio room which was larger than we thought and was well equipped. You won't be disappointed if you stay here and a big plus is that it's located dead centre of the...

My wife and I needed an overnight stay before heading to Iraklion the following day. From the time we arrived the owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The room was clean and spacious and close to everything in the Rethymon area. I would pass on to the owners that noise within the hotel, particularly from...

This hotel is a not-so-hidden gem offering a great location, large clean rooms, a nice pool area and tremendous value for your money. The kind family who runs the hotel makes you feel like family. The breakfast buffet is quite good, with lots of options including many traditional Greek favorites. The wifi reception in the room isn't the best, but...

We stayed here for 7 nights while having our family holiday. This is a newer hotel, sparkling clean. Every staff member, from front desk to housekeeping was warm, friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was more than ample. Very comfortable beds, big balcony with extra chair and table, roomy fridge, microwave, modern bathroom. The hotel is set off from the...

We didn't stay at this hotel but came to the bar for their fabulous cocktails! The music was great, the bar itself is lovely with comfy seating areas and the service was spot on. We had the same waiter each night (sorry can't remember his name!) and he knew what we liked and made suggestions if something we wanted wasn't...

We travelled as 2 couples on the 24th of September flying with Ryanair. The flight was on time and comfortable. The hotel Axos is located on the main road through the town but was never busy and easy to cross. The hotel is a low rise building on 2 floors with a lift to the upper floor. The rooms were...

This review is for the Axos Bar NOT the hotel so please bear that in mind. We tried the bar on our first night as the music was good and varied and to our taste and the setting was quite chilled. In fact we enjoyed it that we visited most nights and as mentioned the two brothers that run it...

Lovely hotel, on main street but we had a quiet room at the rear of the building. Room was clean and of a good standard. The pool area was kept well and plenty of sun beds. The bar was good and you always got a friendly welcome. We didn't eat at the hotel as we only booked the room. The...
