3 consecutive years in Leoniki for us - and already booked for next year! We preferred to walk out and choose different restaurants every evening although reports for their Greek Night Cabaret were glowing. Many of the apartments have already been refurbished - make sure you book one! ... non-refurbed appts are dated and tatty.

We stayed at Leoniki Residence (Part of Grand Leoniki) for two weeks in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the main pool, we had a great time. The property is well kept/clean, the apartments are nice, the staffs service level is very high. The pool area is great for families with kids and not too crowded, we never had a problem...

This was a perfect family hotel. The pool area was exclusive, not too crowded and great for kids. The staff was typically Cretan: hospitaly is very high on their agenda. The evening entertainment was average but I suppose since the old town is not that far it doesn't really matter. While you probably need to take a taxi to get...

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities! Staying in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with a living room, kitchen and balcony. Large suite with lots of room and nicely decorated! Hotel has 2 outdoor pools which we've been enjoying. There is a mini market here on the property which has all the things that you need to get started before going...

The Grand Leoniki Residence was clean, well kept and close to the sea. We were only there for 1 week but the swimming pool was closed for 2 days as it was murky and not ok to swim in. Very frustrating. The restaurant food was good and the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. I particularly found the staff...

We have visited the Leoniki Residence/Grand Leoniki on a number of occasions over the last 15 years, the last visit being 2 years ago. Since then, Diamond Resorts has taken over the resort and appear to have invested money into improving it - not that it was at all bad, but it was looking a little tired in places. The...

Grand Leoniki Residence We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at this newly renovated resort which we swapped out with space banked points from SA.It was like a small Italian village, centered around the main pool, two bars and indoor/outdoor restaurant and enormous lobby area. Our unit was beautiful in modern, neutral colors, clean and spacious!it was well positioned close to the pool and main areas...

Going by the ratings I wasn't too sure what I'd find when I got there. I anticipate that it would be anything more than a place to stay while we drove around Crete. It wasn't a top of the line resort facility, but it has a certain charm all to itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was great,...

We were staying in an apartment of two floors for 4 persons. It is a very clean hotel, with friendly personnel. The beach is 100 meters from the hotel and it's quiet and very long. Platanias the village in which it is located is vivid and quiet in the sme time. A lot of shops coffee shops and restaurants, all...

This was our taster holiday from Diamond. What we did not expect was to lose half a day of our holiday, while the rep tried to get us to buy into a timeshare with Diamond. We were also told that what we thought we had bought next year included some extra expense which we had not been told about. The...
