A very friendly and hospitable environment combined with the recently refurbished hotel is that every traveler needs for his vacations. Mary Hotel is located in the center of Platania Rethymnou so the visitors can have what they need in a minute walk. Platanias is a touristic, nice and quiet place with many cafes, supermarkets, restaurants and souvenir shops. The beautiful beach of Platania awarded with a blue flag, is located 100 meters from the hotel. The beautiful city of Rethymnon is only 5 km from Mary Hotel. Recommended for families and couples who want to relax.

Well what can I say.this hotel was our fourth in 2 weeks as we like to stay in different parts of the island. I booked this hotel by mistake ,and I can honestly say it was the best mistake I have ever made .nothing was to much for this hotel from the owner who met us on the first day .to Olga on the main reception to the young man who took her place late into the evening ,thank you so very much Long beautiful beach a few minutes away .you couldn't ask for more .Book the breakfast it was also full of variety and taste good to .Will definitely be back to stay again

Very nice and comfortable rooms with a rich breakfast and a nice pool! The hotel is only 2min away from the beach by foot and 10min away from Rethymno centre by car. The hotel staff and owner reserved us a warm welcome and we would like to thank them a lot for their kindness and good advices to discover some insights of Crete! Staying at Mary hotel is highly recommended and we will come back!

Amazing and friendly staff, they took great care of us and even left a little parting gift for us to enjoy at home. Would definitely stay again. Cleanliness alright, Wifi works well enough to work, In close proximity to beach and some good restaurants.

ven before we arrived at Mary Hotel we were made to feel welcome and received a quick and helpful response to an email we sent prior to arriving regarding travel from Chania airport. We arrived at the hotel at about 9pm and received such a friendly welcome from Angel after a long day of travelling. Whilst a nice hotel in itself, we felt the employees and all at the Mary Hotel made our stay special. Constantinos has great knowledge of the island and gave us some great advice and recommendations for day trips which we otherwise might not have done and were a fantastic addition to our trip. Angel in particular went above and beyond in terms of customer service and couldn’t have been more helpful (though he was not overbearing in the slightest; he got it just right!). I somehow managed to forget all my contact lens solution and my glasses (and only had the pair I was wearing) and when I rang Angel at reception at 11pm in a panic, he was so kind and said he had some in reception that I could use- he really did save the day!! With a kind and approachable nature as well as a great sense of humour, Angel is an asset to the hotel. He made a booking for us at a gorgeous restaurant in Rethymno, organised taxis and helped us with transport and local knowledge and most of all, joined in in having a laugh with us and put us at ease in a country where we don’t speak the language. The hotel itself has a great pool and there is a bus stop literally at the end of the street that takes you into the centre of Rethymno in 15 minutes. The local beach is at the end of the road which was handy but we hired a car at a reasonable price from a rental place at the end of the street and did some great day trips to really explore the island. We loved our time in Crete and would recommend Mary Hotel for anyone wanting a lovely stay, not too far from Rethymno and with good local amenities nearby. Great apartment, very spacious and clean. Personal has been super friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms are with air-con, very quiet. Nice Pool with pool bar. Beautiful and sandy Beach is right around the corner (not even a minute away) plenty of restaurants in the area and taxi stand right around the corner. Definitely coming back!
