Being able to go on a trip in times of pandemic is an absolute privilege. Stella and her family did EVERYTHING to feel comfortable. Last year, Stella took a distance learning course at the University of Heraklion in order to maintain the hygiene standard. Appointments for cleaning the apartments are now being arranged in order to avoid direct contact, and hygiene masks are consistently worn. Personal contact is maintained outside. That probably sounds very “technical”, but it isn't. The warmth of the entire family is as palpable as it was before the times of the pandemic. A very big thank you to Stella and her family. The next vacation is booked and we are looking forward to it. Stay confident and stay healthy. See you in 2022!

This fall we stayed for second time at Villa Stella - it was an excellent experience; even better than last year! Very nice apartment; well equipped, very clean. The view high above the sea is gorgeous - to sit on the balcony and to enjoy the view is like paradise!

We stayed at Stella in the Village at the end of September and we just loved it. The apartment was modern and well equipped where you felt immediately at home. It is so convenient to walk to nearby restaurants and only a couple of minutes drive to the beaches. Thank you so much for the wonderful and relaxing stay - we hope to return soon.

Wondering around the area and not quite having in in mind to stay for the night when the sunset overwhelmed us. Stella had a free room for us and we were most thankful for that! A breathtaking view from a neat and cozy studio were so welcoming. Like a home away from home, fully recommended! Ps: magnificent sleep quality.

We was ( me and my husband) in Stella Villas in the first two weeks of August 2018. What I can say - absolutely everything was excellent. The host Stella and her family are the best host you can have. One of the things that truly impressed me was the cleaning of the apartment! NEVER EVER seen something similar in my life in some vacation studio/apartment - everything in this apartment was brilliant clean !!! The place and the view from the terrace is breathtaking! The furniture are new and very modern. In the kitchen you have all necessary but we highly recommend to try all tavern of Mirthios because they are really good. If you looking for beautiful quite place this is the best place you can aver choice in the zone. Thank you Stella , really hope to see you again soon. We are in love with your place !…

We have stayed in Stella in the village in August and it was stunning. The apartments are in a quiet location in village Mirthios with a perfect view on the sea from its nice balconies. It is a 2 minutes walk into the village centre with its 3 excellent tavernas just nearby. There are plenty of nice beaches just in a few minutes drive avaible. They are clean, perfectly equipped, and the beds are so comfortable. Stella is such a nice person, she is always welcoming and had the best tips for our stay. we thought about staying a fews days longer in the apparment, but didn´t. Afterwards we regreted it. Stellas apparment is the perfect place for a nice Holiday! Thank you so much, we will come back. Andreas

They offered me nice room, I agreed for conditions. But when I mentioned about children, they canceled my reservation with comment "we don't accommodate families with kids." without any further explanations. It was very rude and definitely not Cretan.

I come to Plakias every year for few weeks and have many friends there. If you know Sofia Ka........ she will tell you I am a "trusted customer". I forgot to inform I have two small kids (5 and 0 years old) and I would need beds for them. Cheers, K. >> [we didn't publish names online - we put ..... - we respect personal data ] The above text was the message of Mr. Kr........ K...........w . This was the main meaning of his answer : 1) He didn't like to pre-pay!! 2) He suddenly remembered that they won't be 2 people but 4 people !!!!!!!!!! Worth to refer that this was his answer AFTER we sent him our pre-payment request in order to let him confirm his reservation for TWO people ! (in his first request was written 2 people) He expressed his complaints online because : 1) we didn't agree to reserve him without pre-payment - even he was a "trusted customer" for any other vacation apartment owner(!), as he said!! We have this reservation policy and we cannot do exceptions. 2) we explained that the apartment we offered him was on the top floor and we couldn't agree to accommodate a family with such young kids on top floor! This is also a policy of our business. Although there is protection around the verandas, for the maximum safety reasons we can't accommodate kids in the age of 5 or 0 years old, like his kids. We can accommodate these ages only on the ground floor apartments. But there wasn't availability for the period he liked. At VILLA STELLA kids were always welcome! During the last 20 years in VILLA STELLA many families have stayed even on top floor apartments! But families always inform us in their first message the ages of kids and then we suggest them the appropriate apartment: on top or ground floor. We have never received such a reservation request, where parents ask for two people and then remember to refer their two kids, which are so young and this is an important info! We are owners of vacation apartments during the last 32 years! We always do the best for our guests and we have only one goal : to offer them an unforgettable vacation ! There are many of our guests who can express their opinion for our services, facilities and the warm Cretan hospitality!! Mr. Kr........ K...........w had never stayed in our apartments, was never our guest BUT we don't give in any negative comment. The most important for us is to be sure that we guarantee the best for our guests!
