Stayed for two nights with a family of 5. What's really great about Paganakan Dii is the lengths they go to make your stay special. On the night we arrived they organized a night safari in Sepilok for me and my two sons. Best part of the trip we saw everything from Pygmy scorpions and pit vipers to fireflies. The...

Great retreat with amazing view. We stayed in the dorm (30RM pp) which was by far the nicest dorm i slept in. You wake up looking at the sunrise over the jungle. The staff is really friendly and helps you with your travel arrangements. The food is also Ok. (10RM Dinner). The portions are a little bit small, but with...

We stayed for two nights in a chalet & wished our itinerary allowed for longer. The setting is beautiful & the thoughtful layout just encourages you to feel relaxed. The staff were helpful & did everything with a smile. The pick of our accommodation in Sabah. We were still a little hungry after breakfast but how can you complain if...

Paganakan Dii was the best place we have stayed while backpacking in Borneo. First of all Borneo is the best! and to sleep in this budget friendly but peaceful place was an amazing experience for us. In the midst of the jungle close to the orangutan rehabilitation centre. The retreat has spacious dorms (but also single or double rooms) one...

I stayed one night in a double room (in a hut actually). Very clean, very nice rooms, staff is helpful. Nice balcony. Hotel right in the jungle, bathroom (attached to the room) is outside (I mean only a roof). It is beautiful and interesting but as it is outside it is very warm in the toilets during the day... There...

We stayed here for one night after visiting the Sepilok Orangutan Centre. I was suprised by the size of this lodge. it is really huge. If you descend down the path, you will find yourself in the Dharma like ruins of the entertainment park. Overall, great place to stay. The only problem that it is surrounded by palm oil plantations....

We really enjoyed our stay here - the chalets are just what you might expect of a jungle retreat, with a bit of luxury thrown in. Great views over the jungle, lovely inside/ outside en suite bathrooms, good aircon and relaxed friendly staff and restaurant area. So helpful, and the transport arrangement to Sepilok so easy and convenient. Kids loved...

We stayed 4 nights here and had one of their Ridge stilt huts, with air con, simple room with a sliding door to a balcony in the jungle - amazing! The bathroom was modern and when having a shower you were semi-outside which added to our jungle experience. The people who run the place are ace, so happy to help...

We stayed at Pagankan Dii for two nights in June and prior to arriving, we found that the communications with the hotel regarding how to get there from the airport and trips was really good. On arrival, you can see the location is lovely. Set back from the main road you have great jungle views and it is on top...

Great spacious double rooms with fan and air-con. Big comfy beds with mozzie nets. Big sliding doors that open out onto ridge top views of the jungle. Very tranquil and serene location. Hammocks and deck chairs to just hang out on and listen to sounds of jungle. But a few KMs away from main road hidden in a deer park...
