Just spent 2 days at this hotel with wonderful sea views from the bedroom and dining room. The breakfast was lovely and definitely set you up for the day, served by the very friendly landlords daughter. Room very clean and well stocked with tea/coffee and toiletries.

My two old school friends and i stayed at the beach hotel for one night. The landlord was hobbling with a damaged ankle and was most apologetic tho he greeted us warmly and stayed up late with a smile until our return. We merely needed a place to rest our heads and have agood breakfast. We walked on the beach...

We called in for lunch and were immediately grunted at by the landlord when we asked if they were serving food. The food is ok without being great and fortunately the waitress ( who I understand is his daughter) was fabulous and she saved the visit from being a disaster. I cannot believe how brusque this man was and it...

I called in today for lunch after an absence of 25 years and was beyond delighted to find the same man behind the bar! A great guy, totally passionate both about Sandsend and his business and more than happy to chat about both. The interior has recently undergone complete refurbishment under the watchful eye of his daughter, who has joined...

The breakfast the next day was a monster, but lovely. And our dog Ralph, had his own sausage for breakfast on both days, they are...

The s dog friendly hotel is in an enviable position, overlooking the spectacular beach. Graham and his wife gave us a warm welcome. The rooms have great views of the beach and there was plenty of room in room 4 for our Doddle Daisy, she also enjoyed her daily breakfast sausage! The breakfast was huge and beautifully cooked and set...
