Just a short stay, but Caroline once again made us feel so welcomed. Very stylish rooms and cosy. Such a good selection at breakfast and very accommodating if a change was requested. Definitely be returning.

We stay here to travel to Whitby for the goth festival. Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Very peaceful. Breakfast was lovely. Will definitely book for next year. Owner friendly and helpful. Wish we had stayed longer and saw more of Sandsend.

This hotel is in a beautiful, quiet spot with great views. The room was attractive and comfortable. The hospitality from Caroline was warm and welcoming. We had a meal in the restaurant during our stay which was absolutely delicious.

We spent a long weekend at this beautifully peaceful boutique hotel, the location just could not be better! It is within easy walking distance of the delightful Sandsend beach and a five minute drive to the historic harbour town of Whitby; the hostess Caroline could not be faulted, her attention to detail and requirements of her guests are without doubt...

Wonderful peaceful location, plenty wildlife in the nearby woodlands. Short walk to the sea, quiet little village within a short drive to Whitby. Rooms are comfortable but the best thing is the welcome atmosphere, that and the food! Recommended

Gorgeous location in a wooded valley but only a short distance from the sea. We had a very friendly welcome. The bedroom was very comfortable, the shower was amazing and the bedding silky smooth. The breakfast was delicious. We only stayed one night but would have liked longer. I can't comment on dinner as we only ate breakfast. Recommended.

Booked a birthday meal with my wife in this small boutique style hotel - located in the picturesque village of Sandsend, Whitby. Very fresh clean and relaxing restaurant and bar area. We had drinks in the bar before an excellent 3 course meal. Every option on the menu seemed tempting. Food was gorgeous. Although we were not staying at the...
