On arrival the frontage is quite amazing and inside doesn't disappoint either. In the main courtyard there is a glass window so you can look down two floors into the spa area. The view down into the courtyard from the second floor is excellent. Service is very good and everything is furnished to a very high standard. One negative issue... More

We just ate in the Restaurant, but the food was exquisite. Good service, very very good food. Everything we asked was yummy. They were fast and the portions were just right to have enough to eat but not too much that you cannot finish it. Such a nice building, shame that the restaurant has no natural light.

We had a great time here. The building itself is gorgeous, the treatments were various and pretty good, and the rooms were spacious and well taken care of. We also ate at the restaurant which was a very nice experience. I can't say that we had any complaints. The only thing to be aware of is that the exterior pool... More

This hotel is absolutely lovely. We were only able to stay 1night as we were en route to southern Spain, but we will definitely return for a longer stay. Our room was excellent, spacious with a bath & separate shower. The bed was enormous! We had a meal in the cafe which was good, the waitress was very friendly &... More

The building is stunning, another old place brought back to a very practical use. All the staff we met smiled, were polite, attentive and efficient and most were good English speakers. The food in the restaurant was some of the, if not the, best we had in Spain. We had a corner suit in the old building, spacious, clean and... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 12 nights. Every year we choose a place where there are natural hot springs and go there to relax. It is a way of getting away from home and forgetting about the pressures of work. We had previously been to Olmedo and Solares, both of which belong to this same chain... More

Spectacular Hotel, quite unique, converted old university. Really helpful staff, lovely food and rooms. We came across this hotel and town completely by chance looking for a spa hotel within driving distance of Madrid- how lucky we were. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough- real Spain- they say they have an English-speaking guest only about once a week.... More

You come upon a building with a medieval facade and enter a very modern, well designed hotel. The front exterior has the XV century facade of the Santa Catalina University. Inside is a central patio where you can read the newspaper, have a drink, coffee, etc. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and the spa was well thought out... More
