The B&B is difficult to find, so had to ask for directions. Received a warm welcome from the host. The rooms are clean and our room had a great view of the back garden and countryside. There are parking spaces but very difficult to get into and out of, so we parked in the square. Great location for seeing the...

Stayed for two nights. Very comfy big bed but the room a little cramped. Banged my head on the sloping ceiling more than once. Shower room tiny but functional. Very good breakfast but could have done with a few baked beans added. Lovely welcoming and friendly hosts. Parking very limited in the hotel and in the village too.

We stayed in the mews annexe which is perfect for a small family and dog. Really good value considering the size and high standard of the accommodation. Terry & Hannah made us feel very welcome and have even arranged to reunite our son with his precious soft toy which we left behind-Thank you!! The breakfast was excellent, delicious bacon and...

We have just got back from a weekend break in Reeth and had a great stay at the Arkleside Country Guest House. When we arrived we were given a warm welcome and given the choice of two rooms which were both really nice. Opted for one overlooking gorgeous countryside. We were given some great advice about the village and it's...

We stayed here for a weekend brake recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Arkleside is a small guest house run by Terry and Hannah with, 6 or 7 letting rooms and a 2 bedroom annex. Our bedroom was well finished with a really comfortable bed (my wife liked the white duvet cover), a big range of assorted teas, lots of coffee...

We spent 2 nights here on a very wet august weekend for our anniversary, but the weather did nothing to dampen our visit. This was a lovely guest house, right in the centre of Reeth next to the Burgoyne Hotel. The view from the room and breakfast room was beautiful and the owners were very relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was...

Just off the main square and run by a couple that used to also offer evening meals but they are taking a break from that with the arrival of a baby (understandably). A perfectly nice B&B with rooms that are functional rather than luxurious. Our room was not large but with a small clean ensuite (electric shower) though some rooms...

Thank you John for your review. I'm glad you found our b&b nice and friendly. A couple of things to clarify for future customers. We are not taking a break (because of having a baby) from providing evening meals, as we have never offered them so this information is incorrect. We do not describe our rooms as luxurious and realise...

We stayed at Arkleside for a family holiday, and were lucky to get the recently refurbished annex - 2 bedrooms, bathroom and living room / kitchen. Perfect for a family. But be quick as it's on the market so may not be available for long! Terry and Hannah were excellent hosts v friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast and fantastic Dales...

Nice corner setting, but with limited outdoor front of building car parking. Not good on wet days, when you need to load or un-load cars. It is run by a nice couple, whom have a 4 month old baby. Checking in time usually between 4-6pm. 6 rooms & separate annex available. Room £65 for 2 people. Nothing included. Breakfast charged...

Thank you Sportybirmingham for your very factual review. We do advertise limited parking and I'm not sure of anywhere in Reeth that has covered parking to avoid getting wet when unloading your car. We do have a baby who is nearly 6 months old now and is the reason we changed our prices and breakfast offerings. Our room rates range...

We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't fault anything at all. Terry and his wife were great hosts and made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the stay. Our room had a great view across the valley and included a hair dryer, shampoos, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits (which were replenished each day) The breakfast was spot on...
