Small "paradise" hidden near the Palu (the main city of Central Sulawesi regency). The resort is rather small (which I take as an advantage) and it's just great for all fans of Indo-pacific marine life. The place is managed by the mixed German-Indonesian crew. Namely: Anna, Alex 1 or Alex 2 are usually around to help you with your wishes....

Pros: - Pak Maming is a laid back but thorough dive guide - equipment room, diving gear and facilities well maintained and organised well - six dives accomplished including two wall dives and a night dive - boat trip well organised - cottages where we stayed were basic but clean and spacious - Alex and Anna (German owner and staff)...

We stayed 29 nights without any dissonance / complaint at the Prince John Dive Resort. The transfers were well organized irrespective of the time. The bungalows, in different versions and sizes, are complete and comply with the current standards. Depending on the price with / without hot water. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are of excellent quality and offer enough...

Divers would love this resort because of complete facility to support diver's actifity. The resort located on the cliff, therefore have very good view. Drawback is the distance between resort central area and uphill rooms can be as far as 250 meter. The dive spots located near the resort, You can reach the sports within few minutes by boat. Friendly,...

Great place for a diving vacation. Rooms are exactly what you need and the wind provides the best fan. Food never was boring and special request where fulfilled when possible. Divesites where for all levels from and even after 2 weeks with 3 dives a day never boring.

This is really a splendid location for a perfect dive holiday. There are over a two dozens of dive spots to choose from ranging from the easily accessible house reef to the Gili Raja wreck 50 meters below the surface. There’s an equipment room which gets closed at night and a dry room for charging cameras and batteries. All cabins...

Young German speaking guests limited my American socializing. The spot is idyllic, tasteful wood and thatch styled buildings. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty food for the breakfast and dinner included. A la carte lunch tasty too. Free wifi to boot in the office area, but not in your room. Dive instructors tops. Suggestions: 1) ceiling fans in dining area, 2)...

As you can see, I've not been active in the past in TripAdvisor, but I can't leave the comment of Ester without reaction. My wife and me stayed for six nights in Prince John and felt really welcome. #1: diving: There was no problem for us to follow the briefing and it was clear and easy to understand when and...

After having a look on their website we booked Prince John Dive Resort for three weeks and had the best time ever! What you see is what you get, but with much more service than we expected. The owners are so flexible and always trying to help out, or just to have a good laugh and share some nice stories....

A few years ago we fell in love with SE Asia so our last diving holidays were the phillipines, borneo (Sipadan ) and Sumatra, but what we experienced at Prince John, was amazing!!! We had the basic bungalow, a nice walk but that helps you work off the nice food you had during the day :-), and the staff is...

“closer to the bar more rumor, but steep and dark paths. Trees take much of the sea-view, check this. Wifi at the bar. Connection poor.”

“Some bungalows are rather far from the main area, up a slope - so try and stay closer to the bottom of the hill. Bungalows differ from being wood to stone, but all look quite similar. Views seem to be the same everywhere - some have more trees in front, but none are completely blocked from a view (which incidentally is quite nice.)”
