I went on this trip in September - was perfect timing as there were no bugs, the weather was perfect for hiking and canoeing and the log cabin was super cozy and warm at night! The guides were amazing, the cooking was amazing, the scenery was, you got it, amazing! I would come back to the log cabin again and...

We did the 5-day canoe and lodge - 3 days of canoeing in Algonquin Park (camping for 2 nights) and 2 nights at the log cabin, on the edge of the park. Given we didn't have canoeing expertise and are not experienced campers it was the ideal way to explore the park and its surroundings. On the canoe trip we...

We stayed at the log cabin in August. There were many positive aspects to our trip, and unfortunately, a few negatives, which took a bit of the shine off our experience. We are an outdoorsy family, so we certainly enjoyed the rustic feeling of the lodge. The food was fantastic and the staff were great (quite knowledgeable and friendly)! We...

My husband and I stayed at the Algonquin Log Cabin for 3 days and 2 nights. We decided to meet everyone at the cabin instead of hiking in since we were looking for more of a relaxing vacation. When we arrived on Monday there was just one person there- Becky, who was super friendly and made us a nice lunch...

I highly recommend this company. My family is not experienced in canoeing and camping but with the aid of our excellent guide who was very professional, organized and very entertaining, we thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. We got to enjoy firsthand the vast Canadian wilderness. All we did was to bring ourselves and the company supplied the rest. It was fun...

Our family of two adults and two 'kids' (19 and 16) stayed at the Log Cabin in mid July 2011. We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Although our stay was brief, we fitted in several canoeing and swimming sessions as well as a couple of walks. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgable and helped us...
