This establishment has just several rooms, most overlooking a pleasant golf course and fields and hills beyond, just a kilometre or so from the small town of Lake Brunner, in an area with many attractions. The rooms are small but entirely adequate and very well equipped, not least with a very comfortable bed. The welcome is exceptionally friendly, with good...

Loved our stay in this spotless, neat and very comfortable accommodation. The rooms are smallish but certainly very serviceable! But, it's the way the hosts have provided an addition shared lounge, outdoor BBQ and insist on doing all the washing up with heaps of additional supplies you can help yourself too......that makes this place pure luxury. The golf course is...

One of the best value accommodation in NZ during peak season @ $112 p/night. Nice outlook to golf course and mountains. Free golf if you stay there and clubs are provided - it's a pretty basic 9 hole course - more like a bigger version of pitch and putt, but a nice bonus. No food there, so best bet is...

while the rooms are on the small side they are very neat well decorated and comfortable ... the view looking out on the golf course is superb ... and a quick round on the first day showed it to be more than just a show piece ... it is not family accommodation but if you are single a couple or...

My wife and I stayed hear for one night whilst travelling in the South Island. The unit was very modern, clean and had everything that one needs. The bed was large and very comfortable. These units do not have cooking facilities. We pre booked and paid $119. We were happy with the reception we got on arrival and on our...

We stayed at the Lake Brunner Accommodation & Golf Course whilst touring New Zealand. What a lovely place! Spotlessly clean, everything we needed was provided in the room, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We wished we were there longer!

After a wonderful drive over Arthur's Pass we took the Lake Brunner detour and were looking for somewhere to stay. We were heading for a holiday park, but just before it on the left we saw a sign for this motel. We didn't like the holiday park at all, so went back to look at the motel. Small (only six...

had a very comfortable night at the lake Brunner accomodation despite not being golfers! The hotel was immaculate, everything we could wish for apart from a Microwave. Only Downside was that the walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbours showering and snoring! It is a little way out of town so would need a car, although one...

Very nice if smallish room, superb shower, high quality furnishings. Extremely friendly, charming and helpful hosts. Really entertaining golf course - you wouldn't want to take the golf too seriously, but a nice mix of birdie chances and the prospect of losing balls just off the fairway. We had a great weekend, and we'll be back.

We found this place by accident, and ecided to stay an extra day. The facilities are perfect, and meticulously maintained and cleaned. The camping ground itself is green, clean, and very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, and the dining room has a TV as well. The managers were very helpful, and friendly. The glow worms are a special plus,...
