Alison does an amazing job of welcoming you warmly to their B&B. She home cooks a wonderful (and extensive!) breakfast, has lovely rooms, and is perfectly situated for exploring the Isle of Skye. I've posted a photo of the view from our window. Everything was clean, and tidy! She and her husband were just lovely; helping us book tours and...

Just spent one night at the Strathgorm. Rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing views of the water. Breakfast was delicious; cooked to order. Alison & Neil were great hosts so helpful & happy to chat. Would definitely stay here again next time in Skye.

For travelers wanting a quiet alternative to bustling Broadford, please consider this lovely B&B in Lower Breakish, just a short mile away. With lovely views of the water, Strathgorm is a welcoming and comfortable spot, where guests' comfort is of utmost importance. Alison showed us a great kindness by offering to fetch us from a local restaurant (Red Skye, which...

Felt utterly welcome start to finish and was tempted to extend our stay on Skye. Warm, friendly and full of relaxed recommendations about the island. Fantastic views of the hills, great access to the main road, easy to find from either the ferry or the bridge and was very easy to book.

It would be worth going to this B&B just for Alison's warm welcome but everything else is in the same class. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious -- REAL kippers! To top it all, to get a fantastic view of the Cullin Mountains you don't even have to leave the house....

Okay, I stole that last bit of the review title from Robbie O'Connell, but that really describes the Strathgorm Bed and Breakfast. It really is a home away from home. We stayed at the Strathgorm twice on this visit to Scotland, after having stayed there before on two previous trips. We stayed for two nights on the first trip across...

Welcomed with coffee and tea in the common room upon arrival - only time that happened during the three weeks in Scotland! Room was delightful with huge, soft bath sized towels. The view out our window was amazing! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wonderful variety from which to choose. Our host went out of her way not once,...

A wonderful place to stay. Alison is a very welcoming and attentive host. Comfortable room with a good view. Excellent shower. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in Scotland. Good value.
