It's a blast of orange and brown, furnished by MFI / Ikea. The room we had is small, functional and spartan. The beds are hard and the pillows just about ok; after busy days walking we fell asleep easily despite the bed. You pretty much have you make your own bed - there's a bottom sheet already on the bed... More

We'd read some rather negative reviews on this hotel, but couldn't really find much to complain about ourselves. The only negative was that the Reception is reached via steps and we then had to climb 3 more flights of stairs inside to reach our room as there was no lift. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here: the room... More

We had a great room with balcony and a lovely view, very clean, spacious and air conditioned. The staff in the hotel were fabulous, especially Lelija, Anna & Drazen. They were very helpful and we really enjoyed the special cocktail of the day. The pool was very clean and we always got a sunbed, even though we were there in... More

We had a clean room, with no view and a small bathroom(no toiletries) It was fine to sleep in, staff accommodating when asking for assistance. If you want to sea kayak or hire bikes then the hotel offers these services. Swimming pool looked filthy, Terrace was very nice but some of the furniture had seen better days. Breakfast was satisfactory,... More

Can't compare prices because I booked via an operator but there must be better places to stay than this hotel for similar money. Rooms are clean but then surely that's a given in any establishment where you pay money to sleep. The whole of Croatia is spotless so this is no reason to give the hotel a pat on the... More

Price performance is really bad. We paid arround 90 eur for 2star hotel where only good things are front yard and hospitality of hosts. Internet is not existing, food is bad and rooms are clean but quite old. Cocktails are waste of money. Overall really disappointing.

Food. Every morning absolutely same. But this is only top of iceberg. Bread is full of ants, yogurt consistency is like a cottage cheese, all milk and meat products are not cooling at all. Room. Well. It has small terrace and air condition. But last time refurbished at least 10 years ago. The room was placed on one of top... More

Stayed here for a week with our teenage boys. Great hotel in centre of village. Family run. Rooms are simple but comfy and spotless. Staff helpful. Breakfast good with selection of hot and cold food. Lovely terrace. Pool area clean. Kayaking and bikes for hire. Would definitely return.

We stayed in the Borik Hotel for 3 nights. You escape the busy Korcula town, for a very relaxing place; the hotel is at the edge of the water, lovely sea view, nice large terrace and outdoor relaxing pool. Nice old main building but inside a bit disappointing - very modern functional hotel, and a basic bedroom . But it... More

This hotel has a lovely terrace looking down to the bay where you can relax and also have your breakfast. The room was adequate but the 70 steps up to it were a bit of a challenge at the end of a long day. We found it hard to get a smile from the staff and when we asked for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Borik is located in the heart of the little village of Lumbarda, only a few steps from the main street and with a view on the marina Lumbarda and the Peljesac peninsula. The hotel’s beautiful building is the former stone summer palace of the Mirosevic family, today with about twenty renovated rooms with air conditioning. The annexe Borik is located behind the hotel and has further 60 renovated rooms with a balcony. If you wish to savour top culinary specialties, you only have to come down towards the pleasant shade of the a la carte restaurant or pizzeria, and in those rare moments of rain you can enjoy your meal in the roofed part of the restaurant. We are particularly proud of our vast lounge bar, where you may freshen yourself with cold drinks sitting on comfortable reed armchairs. Hotel Borik has made available to its guests direct phone lines, SAT TV, wifi in common areas, internet café, exchange bureau and bicycle rent service. You can reach the beautiful beaches by foot. The pebbly beach Tatinje is only 200 m away from the hotel, but if you prefer rocky beaches, we recommend you Bilin zal. The path to the sandy beach Przine will lead you through vineyards and olive groves and you will find the sea in that cove warmer than around the rest of the island. It would be a pity not to visit some of the fabulous sites near Lumbarda, which is the reason why the hotel offers excursions around Korcula, to Mljet, the most densely wooded island in Croatia and the worldwide famous pearl of the Croatian tourism, the town of Dubrovnik. ... more   less
