We visited in September 2016 and did not have a good experience, after complaining the Manager invited us back, This time we had the Valentine Room which is a very lovely room. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We ate at the Inn over the road, all part of the same group, as we know the...

Had afternoon tea here in Summer 2016. Despite calling ahead to request a table outside, we were shunted off to a tiny table in a sweltering room inside. Service was slow and haughty, and scones not fresh. Won't be going back!

We attended the wedding celebration of dear friends here: we were impressed by the consistently high standard of service from reception, to bar, restaurant and room; the sitting rooms and log fire were lovely to arrive to on a cold Friday evening, and our room was magnificent - the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had fantastic nights' sleep. Really...

Lovely hotel just wanted some good food and a stay over. The stay over was lovely, and staff but the food unfortunately is a little wanting despite the AA accolades. I hate large menus but this is the other extreme - On the TDH just 2 choices per course, though you could have the taster menu which was the two...

Enjoyed 2 night January break here, staff excellent and service . Food excellent, we had 6 course taster menu, which was not large, just right for us. Rooms beautiful, well equipped with coffee machine, iron board etc and l'octane toiletries in bathroom. We were in the main house, there were rooms in old stables as well. Plenty of parking .

I often find myself in Lower Slaughter, but for some reason have never made it to the Manor House. So, yesterday I dragged my partner along for afternoon tea. It was a cold Thursday, and the village was almost deserted. We were pleased to find it was just us having tea, and we sat ourselves down in front of the...

A revitalised Country House hotel in a great location for walks and other Cotswold towns and with staff who appeared to be a close knit team dedicated to providing excellent service. The chef excelled himself over the New Year period and we enjoyed four really good days enjoying the hotel and surroundings.

This hotel is very nice. Loved the bar, restaurant and billiards room. The location is set in a small village which is quiet but central in terms of Cotswolds. Had the six course tasting menu which was excellent, pigs head terrine being my favourite course. Staff are very friendly and loved the devour of hotel. The only issue was the...

A great venue let down by the kitchen, and some staff. As we had young children, we were steered away from the dining room, and as a result had "snacks" from the bar. Apart from a very poor choice, the food was very disappointing. Our two night stay was easy to book by phone, but nearly impossible to get confirmation...

Twee Cotswold picture post card village. Staff nice and helpful. Breakfast and casual food very disappointing. £1200 for 4 room nights incredibly expensive for what we got - location, finesse of food, expertise of largely Central European waiting staff does not command these central London prices
