We had the "Wotton" Room above the bar. Cramped as built into the roof space. Had to get on the floor to access the table in a corner for tea making. Conversation from the bar could be heard in the room. At night the noise from the drink chillers in the bar below meant it was necessary to wear 'ear...

We had a great stay, and were very impressed with the disabled access, including the adapted wetroom which made life much easier. There is level access to most areas of the hotel although steps up to the restaurant (however you can eat in the very pleasant bar).

Lovely building and setting, good food, comfy bed, nice bar area with open fire, romantic setting, pleasant staff. Room was clean, but showing signs of wear and tear. Would stay here again as overall the experience was positive.

My husband and I stayed for just one night (mid-week) and thought the hotel was stunning. A beautiful building overflowing with character and charm. Our room was lovely with plenty of room and possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! All of the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel at home very quickly. We ate...

This beautifully renovated hotel is situated in the chocolate box village of Lower Slaughter, amid spacious grounds, including a stream. The rooms are to a very high standard and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The food is excellent, and offering the same menu in the bar and restaurant means you can make it as formal or informal as...

We treated Mum to Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal at the Slaughters Country Inn for her birthday present. Excellent location, helpful staff team, really good accommodation and all at the right price. We'll be very tempted to return and repeat the experience.

Had been looking forward to staying here as it looks so pretty and cosy from outside, and the photo's of the interior on the website backed this up. However, reality was different. the bar area smell badly of drains. It was not the cosy interior I expected as it has light coloured tiled floor, large pine tables, just didn't seem...

I visited for a long weekend away with family and on arrival the first impressions were excellent. Unforgettable little village, perfectly maintained and full of character. We dived straight into the inn for drinks and lunch which was all super. We checked in and the bedrooms were stunning - the l'occitane shower gels and big white fluffy towels were ideal....

Will make an anglophile out of the most jaded Brit post-Brexit. Stunningly pretty even in overcast weather. Quick service very clean and tidy. (Only stopped here for a quick drink so can't comment on the hotel. )
