The village is picture postcard beautiful. I only come here in non high tourist time.. It's a very lovely setting and yes the inn is very nice. The price varies like every hotel but I only come on a good deal. If you are coming to the Cotswolds then yes come here .

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely time. We had booked a superior room but were upgraded to one of the cottages which were well appointed albeit a bit tired in places. We were booked in for dinner which was nice but trying to be fancier than it was which actually let it...

A repeat visit for us. We enjoy the Cotswolds and the Country Inn is very conveniently placed to visit many of the Cotswold's towns. The Inn is a really nice place to stay for a few days. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are good. In winter, it is a pleasure to be able to relax in...

A good country hotel polite and friendly staff bedrooms good beds comfy front desk courteous and welcoming. Although we had a room over the bar it is quiet. Did not eat at the hotel but the food does look good. Nice area for walking.

Stayed for one night on a winter deal. Wonderful room and helpful, friendly staff who all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our visit. Lovely evening sitting having food in the bar in front of a roaring fire. Will definitely be back!

We booked a double room and were really delighted to discover that the rooms were in fact 'mini cottages' - of a lovely, welcoming style - yet close to the hotel facilities - just a few seconds away. The staff were exceptional, attentive and always with a smile. Food was fresh and well presented. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious.

Overall a lovely, relaxing stay in the slaughters country inn, a few little niggles, mostly about the interior design its all a bit unwelcoming in my opinion, as if it's been done on a budget. Staff all lovely really friendly and efficient, We love this hotel and the location and will certainly be back..

Spent 2 nights here in part of the UK we Love.. having stayed at a nearby Hotel a few months back. Pleasant room with plenty of space in both the bedroom & the bathroom. We ate in the pub part as the restaurant was empty being the time of year. Good food - breakfast & evening meals were nice.

Great stay in a lovely setting. Big rooms, well decorated. Service great and food good too. Only complaint was our mattresses were badly stained and unpleasant. Can walk easily to Bouton on the Water from here or to Upper Slaughter.
