We stayed one night at the Hotel Schloss Binningen. It is located approximately 15 minutes by tram 10 from the Basel main train station. The tram stop is right outside of the hotel. The main attraction of this historic site is the Schloss Binningen Restaurant which offers very good food. When we arrived at around 17.30, the hotel door was...

This beautiful venue boasting a grand terrace is the ideal setting for food amateurs to rejoice the palate. Superb choices from the menu accompanied by fine wines enjoyed either on the the genereous terrace or in the grand dining rooms Inside. A must and worth every penny!

We enjoyed our stay. Staff helpful, room spacious with simple stylish furniture. Wi fi excellent and free. Tv had programmes in various languages including BBC1 and BBC2. Trams close by and we had free use of public transport. Hotel very clean and breakfast excellent with freshly made coffee. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Historic castle next door with...

For the price, I was disappointed with this hotel. I was expecting more modern and matched room decor and bathroom. Room was older with odd ball furniture. Bathroom had poor lighting and ventilation. Older painted closets. Window was great. Location good. Staff are the best part being super friendly and helpful. Breakfast average. Right next to a tram stop. Room...

We had a workshop of total 12 people for which this venue is very adequate. We took the the upper level with some brake out. Service was excellent. Food was raffinate. Hotel was ok, clean and rooms functional. The furniture in rooms are not the image of a castle, neither the functioning. WiFi was working great.

Just special. Well connected, the tram stops just outside, the food at the restaurant was marvelous and the whole place just takes you back in time. The paintings in the restaurant building had me captivated and the staff so ever friendly. The town sleeps early and it was kind of scary getting back to the hotel and room, you have...

Calme situation close to the city of Basel. Nice and clean room with two comfort single beds. Small bathroom - unfortunately showering flodds the corridor as floor is not steep enough for the water to drain.Friendly staff and nice breakfast buffet. Public parking close by.

Very nice and clean hotel, with small reception that closes at 7-8pm. My flight was delayed, but they waited for me and greeted me very friendly. It gives you this home feel, it is nicely furnished with comfortable beds, coffee and tea in room. Breakfast is classic, with good selection of bread and cheese, bacon, eggs, jams and perfect coffee....

The perfect option when in Basel, this historic site has been sensitively restored by the Binningen Marie and is in fact adjacent to the Marriage Registry, which makes it a popular choice for weddings with the main building a very elegant and well reviewed restaurant. The rooms in the accommodation building are lovely in their simplicity with plenty of space,...

Very good hotel within a reasonable distance of the the city centre. There is a tram directly outside the hotel providing a 10-15 minute trip into the centre of Basel. We had a room on the top floor in the old building which was large, bright and airy. The bathroom was very good. On our August 2014 trip to Europe...
