This is a great place to stay with good view of Himalayan peaks from the house. We stayed here for five days, from 23rd Dec 2022 to 28th Dec 2022. The place is strategically located up the hill in between Kullu and Manali. You can enjoy calm and quiet neighborhood, but at the same time visit places in Kullu and Manali easily. Even the activities like paragliding, rafting, and ziplining are very close from this place. Food was great and the place was clean. Very friendly and caring hosts. Special thanks to Dev bhai whose vehicle we had hired, very expert driver and knows the terrain like back of his hand. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
Amazing location. Isolated, yet cose to cafes and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and comfy with great views. Hosts are wondeful people, always ready to help. Great add-on is that they organise treks etc. as well. Would definitely recommend!
Have taken care of me and my wife as a part of their family . Very warm welcoming. Was ter to wat ever and wen ever we need . Gave us a beautiful experience of how they live with the best home cooked food by both brigu and akansha . Have driven us around gave us a beautiful experience of how the culture runs . Kudos to u both . My love to vihaan.
One of The Worst Homestay experience. We kept looking for a stay but the host did not pick up the phone or tell us the way. No basic amenities during this cold weather. No Heater, No Hot water, No soap, No towel. When asked about food, he said whatever we will eat , he will make extra, people will also eat the same. Had to stay for 6-7 days but came back in 2 days and money is also non refundable. The price of heaters in another hotel was Rs 150 but they took 400 per day. One should learn from Bhrigu to rob by taking advantage of the situation.
Don't go at all. You will feel very good in the reviews but when you go in reality you will be completely disappointed.B hrigu is a very rude person. The food, the experience is all zero. No facilities, no behavior. Money will be wasted if you come. (Non-Refundable). Everything ! The place is horrendous and disgusting I’m surprised they even have a business. The rooms stink. They are not clean. Food was pathetic. So overall please do not visit this place, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY!!
The property is run by an energetic sweet couple: Bhrigu bhai his wife Aakansha: and their family, they are undoubtedly amazing hosts: though I didnt get much time to interact with Bhrigu bhai in my short stay of one night only: but still the hospitality we have got from them was really unmatchable. Aakansha is a Chef by profession, takes care of the property and she cooked some delicious meals for us. the food was so damn tasty ❤️❤️ Rooms are perfect, made with local materials and methods of construction. It is really amazing to see their urge to maintain the legacy of rich Architecture & traditions of Naggar itself. Rooms are very cozy, spacious and well maintained. Property is neat & clean. Views from the balcony in front of the rooms are really beautiful. Main attraction of the village Naggar castle is just one minute walking from this property. So location is perfect, hospitality is perfect, food is perfect, what else do we need???? A big thumb up for both of you. Loads of love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️❤️…
Amazing homestay experience with the most hospitable hosts Bhrigu and Akansha. The location is stunning with clear views of the mountain peaks all around from a quaint side of Naggar town, yet just a small walk away from all the nice cafes and Naggar castle. The rooms are well designed with wooden work, spacious and with great WiFi connectivity, making it perfect for a workation! The food is organically grown in the kitchen garden right outside and served delicious yet homely.Bhrigu can suggest and organise/accompany for treks and adventures tours. Highly recommended if looking to stay in the mountains away from the chaos of Kulu/Manali.
Brighu's cottage in Naggar is ideally situated to enjoy the beautiful village of Naggar. It has a direct view of the Dhauladhars with nothing obstructing that view. There's a stream passing next to the cottage and a small garden with apple orchards. The wifi is great, giving us 25-40 Mbps at all times. Mobile internet is reliable too since there is a tower in its line of sight. Electricity is stable and power cuts are rare. HBA and Naggar also are well situated. Manali and all the attractions of the Kullu-Manali valley are only a drive away. In my time there, I visited Manali, Lahaul, Kasol, Tosh, Malana, Bijli Mahadev, and more. For climbing enthusiasts like me, there are short beautiful hikes from Naggar to the nearby villages that offer great views. There are a lot of treks nearby too. I did a trek to Chandrakhani Pass. I spent two months in Himachal visiting many places and working from there. Naggar and HBA are by far my best experience. Brighu and his family are great hosts and very kind people too. Don't think too much. Just book!…
Himalayan Brothers Homestay, Naggar, Himachal Pradesh. A much needed break from current chaos. We (me and my wife) were desperately thinking of taking a break from city life for a workation and stumbled upon this place. Planned & booked for a couple of weeks and ended up extending the stay for 2 months. Yes, you read it right, 2 months. Trust me, you will never want to leave. A place far from the madding crowd, with peace, tranquility and in accord with nature. You will fall into the repose and get out of touch with reality. The view from the rooms of the blessed snow clad mountains is breathtaking. Few occasional drizzles with mountains just disappearing in the clouds, savoring a cup of hot coffee in chilly winds is an incredibly alluring feeling. The rooms are clean & quite cozy but you will definitely need a room heater. The temps dropped to sub zero during night times on some days. Needless to say, depends on the time of the year you visit. We were here in the month of Feb & March. You have a fast Internet connection (~50 Mbps) via WiFi, shared with other guests. More importantly the internet was never down throughout my stay except when there were power outages. Mostly those are scheduled and electricity board notifies via SMS in advance. They call it service days. The host will inform you about it when they receive such notifications. However, they are quite rare and we only had 2 such instances during our entire stay. You will be able to enjoy warm water even during the colder months or when the sky is cloudy and quite hot when sun shines bright. The authentic Himalayan home cooked food is just delicious. The food had many varieties like Kadi, Rajma, Saag, Chutney & a famous local dish Siddu. The cultural diversity in our country brings forth a range of authentic cuisine particular to places. One such traditional dish is siddu, a popular and must try dish in Himachal Pradesh. The family is extremely friendly and a true example of excellent hospitality. Wont be enough but Thank You Akanksha, Vihaan, Brighu, Ranbir, Suresh. We are gratified with your hospitality and content with the time well spent. Will certainly visit soon.…
Brighu (owner) is very chilling and supportive. Felt like family there. Planned for just 3 days, but extended for 2 weeks. Perfect location to WFH also as internet speed is very good. No power issues. Felt close to nature with WFH. What else you need 😜
