Location of resort are fabulous & food is so delecious & servicing of staff is excellent . I really feeling fresh to stay this accomodation. I suggest to all of my friends & colleagues if they come Manali to stay in this resort
My stay in Heritage Satikva Resort was fabulous. This resort is beautifully built up in local style which gives you the feel of hills and the best part is its location, as its not very far from the city centre and the scenery around the resort is breath-taking. Rare view of pine forest on one side of the road and open valley view in front of the resort ….is what one looks for. Morning breakfast with chirping of birds, little chill in the freshness of air, smiling staff, superb hospitality, nice food, no doubt makes your stay amazing. Strongly recommend this resort if you have any plans for Manali.
If you guys want to have a real feel of beauty of Manali with a comfortable at affordable price, then Heritage Satikva Resort is the only address. Beautiful interiors with soft spoken staff, superb hospitality, neat and clean rooms and surrounding and abive all delicious food. We all friends were really impressed with the quality of their services. Keep it up guys Will surely visit again in n Dec.
I booked this resort for one night , but extended for two more days, because of it's beautiful location, amazingly good hospitality and delicious food. I love traveling all over and this is the one of the best place , I came across . I strongly recommend this property , it's really worth visiting place
Hello all This would be a little long but a genuine review of this property. I booked this property for a weekend with my family this month. Firstly this property is around 15km from Manali so at a apt location for people who want to enjoy nature and beauty away from the crowd of Manali. Landscape has been done beautifully and the view is also good with forest on one side and apple orchard on the other. The entrance and reception has been done nicely. THATS THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THIS PROPERTY. Chapter 1 : THE FIRST IMPRESSION I booked one of the TALA SUITE for my family and arrived around 9 in night. The first thing as you enter the room is adjust your pillow and lie down (my preference) but what I found was a group of silver fish beneath the pillow and a torn bed sheet and even the pillow cover was torn. House keeping was called and then they changed it but the fear of insects was always there as I was there with my 8 month child. By 9:30 I ordered the dinner for me and I understand the kitchen was about to close so the cook decided to actually make everything in a hurry. The manchurian balls were cooked in high flame making the outer covering burnt and the inner semi cooked. Was tired and not in notion to argue so settled having the dinner with just the gravy. Chapter 2 : THE ALARM You really don’t need the alarm in this property to get up it’s just the pigeons in the ceiling which will wake you up early in the morning around 5 with their hovering sounds. I myself being from Himachal and having a house with wooden ceiling can certainly say that this can be easily managed either by closing all the openings to the ceiling so that birds don’t enter or there are many anti pigeon sprays available in market now (it’s not that I m promoting one). As stated the view was good from the room so as to enjoy the view went to the balcony but as pigeon menace was there and the birds do s**t too the whole balcony was filled with it. Chapter 3 : Hospitality Due to some urgency from office had to print out 2 pages from my inbox. So went to front office to request them if they can kindly print me those 2 pages as it is needed urgently. At first the girl at the reception told that sir you can go out of the hotel and find a shop to print it. On asking that does your hotel not have even a printer then she said office is not open and will call me once it is open. Waited for 2 hours but as no one called went myself again to find a gentleman who said kindly send me the pages I will print it for you. Finally it was printed and thanks for the hospitality. Chapter 4 : पापी पेट का सवाल As stated above you must have got an idea about the food here. The breakfast was just the okay types and staff was helpful to serve whatever they had. The fresh fruits just had watermelons on both the days which I stated as we know it’s summer time and it’s the cheapest fruit available but what if someone doesn’t like watermelon. Chapter 5 : Conclusion For those people who are tired of reading my review just to cut the story short “NOT WORTH THE PRICE” Others can continue reading 😊 The ambience, surroundings and landscape take a 5 pointer from me but the rooms, beddings, house keeping, food just a one point. Based on my experience the property has been built around 15-20 years ago. The rooms specially the bathrooms needs renovation. CERA the brand used in the washroom is historic now it was the choice of middle class families around 10 years ago but not what you expect when you pay such a amount for a day. Same goes with the 6 inches by 6 inches tiles which have been used for over the years. Beware not to get close to the walls else your cloth will be stained with white colour of the walls. Made me remember the advertisement from a paint company a decade ago saying “ chuna chuna tak tak chuna” . So that is the quality of the paint used Chapter 6 : Note to the owner Sir / madam you may have spent a great amount building your property but over the time I m sure you must have also replenished that amount from it (Keeping the prices in mind). It’s not always about earning you should also see for a timely upgrade as everything has a life and everything gets old. All pictures in your promotion show your rooms the view but not the washrooms so I think you very well are aware that they are in poor state else there would have been a picture of that too. To all readers really sorry for such a long review but I think when you are spending such an amount it should be actually worth it. People looking for silence serene view away from the city should opt for properties like LA RI SA or The Himalyan village.…
Wanted to stay away from the hustle-bustle of Manali and Naggar seemed a safe bet. We reached the resort and it seemed that we had taken a good decision. the view from the resort is breathtaking. And resort is well made. But that is where it ends. The room was not particularly clean - I was told this is antique look. But you don't keep wet, dirty corners in the bathrooms, that too for a room you pay Rs 9000 per night. Dinner time and we waited for 50 minutes after we placed the order. This is when they didn't have enough guests. Next morning, we discovered that though we had taken CP plan and had breakfast included, there was NO buffet. Still patiently ordered one paratha, one bread omelet and one plate poori-bhaaji. 45 minutes and nothing came. Requested for at least getting the bread omelet and even that never came for next 10 minutes. This is when there were just two families including us. Getting breakfast needed the owner to come and intervene. Thanks to the lady of the house, we got the food. Not to mention, paratha without curd. Curd was NOT AVAILABLE. I mean seriously! Evening we asked if there is a bon fire planned and we were told there is none. Then the next day, when we reached again for dinner (inspite of bad experience with restaurant, there is no choice since there is nothing to eat in a radius of 5 KM), we realize that there was bon fire. Of course the staff doesn't feel it important to inform all guests that a bon fire is planned. Not even the ones who had asked for it a day before. Not to mention, the sudden repair work which obstructed the passage to our hut - we had to cross an open sever to reach the room. A blocked sewage can be a problem - that is still understandable. But waiting for 40-45 minutes for a food that tastes below average is not! A staff who doesn't care about the requests of the customers is not! All in all, a very mediocre experience - the only savior is the location of the property and the owner who no doubt was a fine lady to talk.…
I was there at Heritage Satikva Resorts with the kids and old parents. I am really impressed by their caring attitude. We had a great family time over there. Excellent place with great location and amazingly hospitable staff. Would love to visit again. Great! Excellent Resort, great location
Family Vacation in Manali Heritage Satikva Resort! While we have spent many vacations in mountains, for the first time our entire family went to Manali for the first time. We were thoroughly enchanted. The Hotel Heritage Satikva Resort offered wonderful hospitality. The rooms and lobby were lovely. The big terraced lawns offered many options for those family members that do not want sightseeing and a welcome relax for those who do. As lovely as the facilities are, the most remarkable was how warm, friendly and attentive everyone was. We noticed the decided warmth and professional service not only in the hotel but throughout the resort. It was one of our best family vacations ever and we are planning on returning next year!
Beautiful property for family. There are many options to enjoy for our kids and us. Many small lawns with out-door games. and apple garden with apple tree. it was our awesome tour. Food was tasty. And staff was very helpful. Thanks.
The location and the resort is awesome but unfortunately cannot be said the same for the staff. The restaurant staff especially and the manager who are in the front desk are extremely lazy. They are very unresponsive on phone . They don’t see if rooms are cleaned if towels and Bedsheet needs to be changed. They do not even bother if the guest are getting their complimentary water bottle coffee sugar in the rooms. If taken care this place will be much better place to stay. Only if the management pays a little extra notice.
