We went the place as a group and stayed 2 nights. It has a magnificent landscape view. It is just in the middle of the village. When you are walking around you can talk to locals which I like very much. Breakfast and dinner was ok. In the hotels like this, I wish to see and taste more local foods... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night as part of a tour of Cappadocia and it was a unique experience both for the stunning views and the incredible rooms built within caves. And the restaurant was also a surprise with a nice buffet and very good food. I will come back !

The room was nice, the only real problem being the lack of a fridge. Although the hotel grounds enjoy good views, they have not really made the most of it. Just acres of bare concrete with nothing but a few hard wooden chairs to sit on. Breakfast was rather mediocre, and because they don't start serving until 8am there is... More

We arrived late at night without a reservation and drove around town trying to find it. Eventually stopped at a corner store for directions, and the hotel manager met us at the store and led us down the (quaint, not creepy) back streets to the hotel. He was friendly, helpful, and even upgraded our rooms for no extra charge. We... More

The rooms are very cozy and authentic. Especially the view and common spaces between other rooms are spatially well organized. Dinners and breakfasts were above average… The wine is awesome! Worth to try…

We booked a double cave room for two nights as a base to explore the Ihlara Valley and surrounding areas. The hotel was hard to find even though there was some signs on the main street of town. It cannot be seen from the main road and is within the labyrinth of small lanes on the hillside over looking the... More

I stayed at the Cappadocia Ihlara Mansions and Caves for two nights in October 2015. It is located in a nice village/town of Guzelyurt and the hotel Mansions have a nice Greek ambiance. We were a group of 10 men so I have seen a number of rooms. Some of the rooms were really very nicely designed. My room was... More

I nearly gave Ilhara full marks because what we got for £27.00 was amazing. It's slightly confusing as there are several mansions all under the umbrella of Ilhara. We actually stayed in Antique Gelveri. Our superb room wad enormous with a high vaulted ceiling and the attached bathroom was an enormous cave with a bath and shower. The room had... More
