A pre-booked overnight stay here was perfect for our needs. We had a corner top-floor room with 2 balconies that overlooked the river to the front, and the castle to the side. The room was clean and tidy, minimal toiletries, the bed rather hard and on a par with a mortuary slab (a typical Portuguese hotel bed though....). It is...

The hotel next door (Museo) and this hotel are essentially the same business sharing reception, bar etc. The Museo is a bit more upmarket. The rooms in the Beiro are fairly basic but the furnishings are fine. All clean tidy and bathrooms although small again clean and functional. Well decorated. We had two rooms, one with a big balcony overlooking...

The room i got was no more than 3/5. However, the view was wonderful and i got a small cozy balcony! Near to everything. Good breakfast in the morning, can sit outside with a view and enjoy it. Staff not very cheerful but at the same time not rude either.

We stayed here as part of a bird and plant holiday organised by a leading uk nature holiday company. As described in other reviews the hotel is in two buildings with a terrace area between them. The reception area and bar are in the interesting Museo section and the breakfast area in the other. I say interesting because it has...

The location is great, in the middle of the town, overlooking the river. Nice balconies and a great view over the town, just a short stroll away from all museums, the castle etc. It is possible to park a car in front of the hotel, free of charge. The receptionist was very friendly, explaining to us all the highlights of...

We stayed in a suite with a river view which was well worth the extra 20 Euro as the room comes with a huge balcony that allows views of the river and the castle and church. There are plenty of places to eat well within walking distance. There is parking on the street right outside the hotel. I recommend an...
