The rooms themselves at the hotel are very basic and pretty dated.

My main problem with this is that there are no fridges in the rooms which crazy in this day and age.

Aside from that the hotel is wonderful. The restaurants and bars are fabulous, packed and bustling every night whether you visit in June or October . The location right on the beach front.

this hostal has a perfect location near ibiza town, just behind the port, and on the beach. Awesome when you want to take the little boat to Ibiza (5 min walk, gorgeous little ride by boat with amazing views). If you have a downstairs seaview room, your balcony is literally on the beach. Just hop over and you're there. Amazing views. The hotel has a great fish restaurant and lovely smoothie bar (expensive, large smoothie for 7,50) . just it can be a bit noisy when you wish to turn in before midnight cause of restaurant and bar being open. But that s ibiza i guess. Great (new) bamboo mattresses though. Its really quite a beautiful spot, with lots of wine leaves and plants

What a great place to have an informal dinner in a superb location. The team were extremely professional and friendly given the circumstances of the 'new normal' everything ran like clockwork. Food was fantastic as were the margarita cocktails! We definitely recommend visiting, but make sure you book in advance and get a table on the terraza rather than the restaurant. Kids are welcome and you can ask for half portions as they do not have a kids menu. We will definitely go back.

While I appreciate this is a 2 star establishment it is in serious need of some attention. The bedroom we had had paint coming off the ceiling, a broken wardrobe, a balcony door that barely opened and a balcony of pure rust, but great sea views. The restaurant was great and always very busy form 8am breakfast to close at 1am so surely some money could be ploughed back into the hostel? A request to also ask the staff to smile occasionally please. In the reception there were 4 sun beds to borrow but between them they didn’t have all parts to make one bed. We later noticed there were significantly more but guests where taking them to their rooms at night ! Great location, in need of some love..€182 per night

My room faced the centre of the bay and I loved waking up to the sunrise each morning. Reception was friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything and restaurant had a good buzz most times of day. Room was cleaned every day with towels and bedding changed too if wanted. Breakfast was not elaborate but plentiful and did the job. Appreciated that room had a small fridge and option for heating as well as air con. Only complaint would be walls quite thin so woken by other peoples alarms a few times! Safe to walk around bay at night and about 30 min walk into old town.

After 5 minutes a couple arived and give them a table with out a problem.. needed to insist to get a table and after 2 hours, kpet empry. Wonder why. Pillar was the first girl to refuse but other guy, a bit oldef did the same. In the end extra drinks were charged. Keep a look on the check. To complaint the recepcion guy refused to give invoice and after asking to complaint he refused to give his name. Very bad. Ps.

They made our stay that much better. We felt at home with their hospitality.

We were staying for the weekend and ended up staying for the whole week.

Definitely should be classified as a hotel.

Highly recommended..

This hotel is literally right on the beach in Talamanca bay. The beach is fantastic, clean, good for kids & therefore can get quite busy.

It is a 15 euro cab ride from the airport, about 20-30 mins depending on traffic. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to superclub El Divino, about 15 minutes walk to superclub Pacha & about 30 minutes walk to Ibiza town. But don't walk to town, take the water taxi costing only 3 euros return. This is the best & nicest way to travel, the jetty is 5 mins from the hotel & the boat runs all day up to 1am in the early hours.

Clientele was a mix of German, Spanish & English & some from the USA, no kids when I was there.

As my single room that I'd booked was not ready, I was put in a first floor twin room with a balcony overlooking the bay, this was fantastic for 2 stars. Unfortunately I had to move to a ground floor single room the next day. This was on the road side of the hotel, very small & very noisy - AVOID these rooms. I complained & was moved to a first floor twin room on the road side as all the seaside ones were booked. Although no balcony & not a nice view this was perfectly adequate.

To sum up, it is worth paying a little extra for a twin, sea view room, this is great value for money & by far the best type of room there.

This place is supremely overpriced - for the fact we stayed here for a non sea facing room for €120 per night and moved down the road to a 4 star for €90 for a sea facing room. The staff is generally rude, and the service is abysmal. The bottom line is that they own the best spot and they can throw their weight around. PS: Don't attempt the breakfast.

I thought service in Ibiza would generally be that standard until we moved to another hotel that allowed a late check out, and shower facilities after we moved out. Ibiza service actually is excellent, this place kinda let's the island down.

We just returned from a wonderful and relaxing honeymoon in Ibiza. We stayed at the Talamanca Hostel. It has a laid back apperance and feel to it. Although lacked the waves and rugged nature of beaches on other side of island, beach is classy, picturesque, has beautiful sunrises and is nice and safe. We had originally booked for just one week, having planned to stay in the North of Ibiza in 2nd week, but changed our minds when we saw the location and the sea view from our balcony. It was no problem for them to accomodate us for another week in same room. Ibiza is not a cheap holiday and the hotel was slightly more than we would normally pay per night as we usually go self catering and budget, but for a special holiday it was worth it. We hired a car, joined a gym and generally did our own thing, using the hotel as a base. At night we mainly took the ferry to Ibiza town and found some economical and typical local restaurants. We had drinks in the bar and in the adjoining somewhat eccentrically run beach bar a few times and although we ate in the restaurant on only a couple of occasions, when we did the food was good. Cleaners great- rooms were spotlessly clean and got new towels every day. Found the night porter nice and friendly when returning from our occasional - being a bit older we managed only 2 clubbing nights- late night/early morning excursions. There appeared to be many regular guests who knew each other-particularly german- and although we didn't get around to joining in, the hotel's own social occasions looked fun. All in all would recommend the hostel particularly for its location - beachfront, but near to Ibiza town and Pacha - and easy to drive all over the island which is really well worth exploring. Loved Ibiza and will return.
