Missed our cruise ship in Barcelona, booked a flight to its first port (Ibiza). Arrived at the airport at 10pm, totally exhausted. Told our cab driver (who spoke very little English) to take us to a nice hotel near the cruise port. He delivered us to Hotel Argos. We asked for a room for one night. They told us it would cost $886 for the night. When asked if there were any others in the area, we were told they were all booked. Tired and frustrated, we paid their blood money. The room consisted of a bed and a bathroom. The air conditioning did not work, so we either left it on (which made the room very cold) or shut it off (which made it impossible to sleep. The "bedroom" had a bed and nothing else, no couch, no chairs, nothing. The two jerks at the desk saw us coming and took advantage. Worst we ever stayed. Hopefully some of you will heed my words and bypass this hell hole. Fellow travelers, you have been warned.…
We booked a room for one person just to take a shower and store our bags for the day for my three friends. Just because they booked one person in the room they did not let any other person in. We literally payed 180 Euro for our bags to be stored, it is laighable compared to other hotels. It may be the cheapest but it is full clown behaviour. Do NOT Recommend
An excellent hotel , lovely staff , fantastic location, great facilities. Susana and Pepe were particularly helpful on reception. We were a group of 8 ladies and they sorted it that one room was extended to accommodate our late return flight. Thank you
Stayed 3 nights with my wife for a long weekend break. Hotel is excellent. Firstly the location is perfect on the beech but easy walk to Ibiza town. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms cleaned every day with towels. We were given a room with a sea view. All staff from reception, pool and catering were extremely helpful, always happy in their work. We swapped our evening meal for lunch as we liked to walk out on an evening. Both breakfast and lunch were excellent. Good selection at breakfast. Plenty of sun beds always available around the pool and the pool still had the sun on it at 8:30/9pm. Overall we had a perfect stay at the hotel and would highly recommend.
We have had a horrible and expensive experience booking directly on the hotel web. We made a booking and the confirmation went to spam. When we saw it we realised the dates were wrong and the wrong stay date was already gone. We called the hotel to fix this, however they were not kind to help and we had to book and pay again, this time was double the price as they do Revenue management. We understood the noshow and the increase of rate because it was demand for this period. We explained it at the reception and they were not helpfull and very unfriendly, they just said that they couldnt do anything. We asked them to include the dinner in our reservation as a gesture for everything we went through booking on the hotel web. They just say no, no and no. This pre stay experience has been a nightmare.. So if you want to book, better through OTAs and better rates. Also during the stay we wanted to use the indoor pool, but we couldnt as water was cold, and it wasnt heating in the indoor pool area.…
Most uncomfortable bed ever, staying at most hotel the most important part is the comfort of your bed especially claimed 4*,even the reception staff were non appliance with my complaint, the rest of the room was very clean and tidy, ,,,, change the old mattress invest better and you guys in reception cheer up be happy you live in ibiza.
Don’t recommend! Felt very budget! Staff Terrible! Carlos the reception guy is most rude receptionist I’ve ever come across. I live traveling the world and stay in hotels daily. Wouldn’t got here again if I paid too. Very disappointing! Bad management
Would highly recommend this hotel...very friendly and welcoming staff, including at check-in when we decided last minute to upgrade to sea view room. I would advise booking a sea view if possible as the views out over the bay are beautiful, and we spent ages sitting out on the balcony each evening watching the little boats come in and out. The room was very clean and comfortable and the balcony was lovely. Breakfast was included and was very nice...not too busy and very relaxed unlike some hotels at breakfast. Plenty of sun beds around the pool and never crowded. The bar, pool table and table tennis were also great. Plenty of lovely little restaurants within walking distance, lovely little stroll all the way around the bay along the boardwalk accessed from the hotel’s beach. Easy access into Ibiza town too via the water taxi from the marina. Can’t fault the Argos and would definitely recommend.…
Really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms where clean and tidy. Good sized balcony. We had breakfast included and this was good although maybe more choice would be nice. We didn’t use the bar facilities. The resort itself is really pretty. Some lovely restaurants 5 minute walk away. All hotel staff where friendly and attentive. We also used the changing facilities as we had a later flight home which where downstairs and adequate. Will hopefully visit again next summer
What an experience! It was my first time and the hotel staff made me feel very welcome. The beach front location, and the private balcony was exceptional. You can order a massage or mani pedi to your room, what a magical experience! However I must say that the room service menu needs work, and flexibility. I would recommend this hotel 10/10.
