A beautifully refurbished old manor home in the central plaza of Petra with the fountain and a small bike shop 2 steps away. We arrived by bicycle and there was safe bike storage. Excellent full breakfast in the interior garden area. Very kind and helpful staff. Large room, very comfortable bed, all the room amenities. Would definitely recommend and return to this beautiful part of the island. Highly recommend a visit up the nearby Santuari Bonany, stunning views and chapel.

Under new ownership- we were their first guests. Tranquil (except for mid-day cycling tour groups in season) stay in a lovely setting, far removed from island package tour goers.

Furnishings are lovely and comfortable antiques set off by carefully chosen contemporary art.

Local owners/managers are friendly and helpful and restaurant simple but very high in quality.

Beautifully refurbished town house in Petra, the room is airy and spacious, but the best part of it is the staff. They just make you feel at home and will turn an ordinary day into a special event.

We'll come back for sure.

Jaime and Teresa.

We stopped by chance had a fab meal and a LONG chat with the owner and Juan the waiter.

We were after some information about the island and 25 minutes later we had it. Could not have been more helpful.

It was such a good experience we returned the following week.

Strongly recommend.

We stayed here for two nights in early August. We chose to book directly with the hotel, by just calling in. They are very friendly and easy going, which is what we love.
There is a very good restaurant in this hotel. We ate there on both nights. The menu is in German, English, Spanish and Catalan. But not all four on each menu. This led to confusion on our first night. However, wrong dishes were replaced with the correct choice, after a wait. It's best to order using Spanish or Catalan if you can manage it. The food was delicious. We came back to eat there on our second night, although there were other restaurants on the placa.
The room we stayed in was No 1. It was amazing. Having come from the hotels on the coast, it was such a pleasure to find a room with character. Our shuttered windows overlooked the courtyard where we had breakfast (more later). The decor of the room was of the past, stripped back walls, big timber framed double bed, beautiful bathroom of marble and stone.
The staff were very friendly, Mercedes, Walter and the two girls really wanted to look after us.
We had a bit of bother, (unrelated to the hotel), and needed to report our loss to the police. Walter came with us and did the interpreting. He allowed us to use his phone to contact our banks and insurance company. He really showed concern for us in our predicament. It took the sting out of a bad experience.
About the breakfast... we were quoted a price with breakfast. On the first morning we arrived downstairs to find no sign of life, and eventually, no breakfast. We got breakfast on the placa. When I mentioned it to Mercedes later she told me that we should have ordered breakfast the night before.
So the second night we ordered breakfast. Next morning, no sign of any breakfast. The cook arrived and made us breakfast, but nobody had told her.
This, for us, was a special experience, of the heart of Mallorca. Some people would be annoyed at the breakfast scenario. The petit hotel has only 3 rooms, and the staff are not on site. We didn't know this.
The beautiful patio where we had breakfast was a haven of peace and tranquility, very nicely decorated in traditional style. The whole building is a treasure.
We can overlook the little foibles, because the care we received was par excellence. We loved the building and the room. The food is fantastic.

The Petit Hotel is located in the center of Petra and well-known by cyclists. It offers 3 rooms only which have famous names: Chopin, Picasso and Mozart. All rooms have separate bathrooms, SatTV, WIFI and air-condition. The hotel has a very lovely patio.

Beautiful building, nice room, kind people, good food (dinner as well as breakfast). The only exception was the shower: cold / lukewarm water, both in the evening and morning.
