My daughter and I stayed 4 nights at the Lagoon Camp and enjoyed it greatly. The staff was fun, knowledgeable and responded to our specific requests. The animal viewing was exceptional. Elephants, cape buffalo, wild dog, zebra, many antelope species, birds everywhere and a big sky each night. We are experienced travelers to Africa and like to stay at the...

A good friend of mine told me three years ago that this lodge was awesome, so I decided to go there with my family. What a disappointment, no mosquito nets, so I have been severely bitten, also moths flying around at night, faded linens, leaking tents. A guide lacking know-how of the animals: specially the birds, trees and flowers, staff...

This was my first safari and it was amazing. The team at the camp couldn't do enough for you, making you feel so welcome and taken care of - from the moment you were picked up at the airstrip to the moment you were dropped off! We even had a family of ostrich welcoming us and a warthog seeing us...

Lagoon was our first camp in Botswana and a great introduction to safari. Spencer and James were our guide and tracker, respectively, and they were friendly, funny (Spencer is a character), and knowledgeable. The only negative on our drives was we tended to stop for a lot of birds and since this was our very first safari we were anticipating...

The camp is located on a meander of the Kwando river, facing the Namibian border, so there's plenty to see outside the door, as it were. River is full of hippos, and we saw elephants, antelope, giraffe & birds there. Good full programme of game drives, including a long trip out to see a pack of wild dogs. Also saw...

The title really tells the story. The lodge experience was very disappointing. The tracking and safari aspect was superb. Background: My wife and I have travelled to Africa three times, visiting Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and South Africa. We have been on may safaris and while in Botswana we have used the Desert & Delta lodges. We decided to visit...

Lagoon Camp was the final camp in our 2 week luxury Botswana safari. We stayed for 3 nights and had 2 cabins for our family in August. The camp was at capacity which felt very busy to us after having stayed in some smaller camps previously. The cabins were fantastic! Beautifully appointed and very roomy. The water was very low...

Botswana is by far the best possible location for your safari experience. The Lagoon Camp was out of this world. From the time we arrived to the last second we left, this was an experience of a lifetime. The camps location on the lagoon is second to none. With (40) plus hippos right outside your accommodations, to the daily migration...

We stayed in Lagoon as part of a two week trip round Botswana, we chose both Lagoon and Labala as it had been well documented that the African wild dogs had been well documented as a good place to see them, wild dogs were a key part to our trip. The lodge was absolutely lovely and the manager Nelson and...

Botswana was at the top of my list for the opportunity to visit "wild" Africa. The camp was wonderful. Although hot during the day, our room was well screened and had a ceiling fan that kept us wonderfully cool during the night. This was the first of our rustic safaris (first being luxury camp in Sabi Sands) and we loved...
