Wago and Matt are fantastic guide and tracker respectively - with an outstanding level of knowledge as well as good sense of humour. Our sightings (despite, in places, six foot grass) were exceptional - lions, leopard and cheetah - all on the move. The camp staff were fantastic and my dietary needs were so well catered for that I probably...

Little Kwara was small, intimate, l and comfortable. We saw many animals and enjoyed being able to go off road. The "tents" are very well appointed and the food was excellent. With only five tents, our time there felt very personalized and intimate. We enjoyed spending time with other guests, both on drives and at mealtimes. One very memorable evening...

Little Kwara provides the expected high level of luxury and customs satisfaction that we have experienced at all Kwando lodges during our time in Botswana. The staff are so solicitous and everything is done to make your time there special.

We had made a spontaneous arrangement and spent an amazing time in the Camp. Soft bags are preferable for the small aircrafts flying in from Maun to the private airstrip. The room (huts mounted on stilts) was beautiful prepared, with lovely small details and equipped with everything needed including moskito spray. The camp is perfectly arranged in harmony with nature,...

This is our fourth visit t o the delta and our second to Little Kwara. we had arrived from another camp which was in the Moremi Reserve whilst LK is in the concession area outside the Moremi. This meant we could go anywhere off track and drive back to camp in the evening after dark. This camp is more remote...

I was not sure what to expect from Little Kwara when reading the reviews here, so was pleasantly surprised to find it to be much more comfortable and relaxing than some have suggested. The rooms are large and well maintained, but retain the feel of a wilderness experience, which means no electric sockets and fans, potential for invasion by insects...

When we first went to this camp it was new, now it is "run down", and clearly no maintenance is being undertaken, Rooms are still small and stuffy, how in this day and age can you not have a fan? The shower supplied hot water on 1 day out of 4! Also very cheap wine, the food was a little...

We stayed at Little Kwara for 3 nights and were completely blown away by the experience. Our "tent" comprised essentially a roomy cabin, with a sink, separate washroom, pedestal bath, shower, huge bed, plenty of storage space and a balcony overlooking the distant waterhole in which hippos were a constant. We also saw plenty of game (impala, red lechwe, hyena...

I absolutely loved the trip to Little Kwara Camp, the staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean, and luxurious, (although could do with a fan). The camp is situated in the Okavango Delta and is not accessible by road, so you fly in. The guides and spotters on our game drive did everything they could to track...

Just back from a three night stay in Little Kwara Camp. I do not understand why the ratings of other reviewers are not lower given what reviewers have written. We were there in mid-November, 2015, at the end of the dry season, and the temperatures were very high. As such, each day features a siesta from about 11 am to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Intimate' and 'personal' are core Kwando Safaris values. The vast wilderness areas in which our camps are located are known for their remoteness and high quality wilderness experience. With the intoxicating sunsets, tranquillity and endless horizons, most people are reluctant to leave! In order for a camp to be included in the Kwando Safaris circuit, it must have the following characteristics: • Intimate and personal - no more than 18 guests per camp • Allow the sounds of nature to dominate • Be managed by experienced and talented citizens of Botswana with motivated and caring staff • Embody the unique Kwando 'Guide and Tracker experience' • Be staffed with guides with the experience and personalities to ensure that no activity is dull! • Limit each game drive vehicle to a maximum of six guests • Have structures that are semi permanent ensuring minimal impact on the environment • Demonstrate environmental best practices in daily operations including the use of renewable energy sources. ... more   less
