Half way home stop over and a surprisingly comfortable large bed, clean good sized room. Sadly the chilly welcome we received made us feel rather unwanted. Fortunately the quality of the food and wine made up for it, breakfast however was a huge disappointment- don't think we'll be back. Which is a shame as it's a pretty town.

Had a room with a big, comfy bed and the loft which had 2 twin beds, so could easily sleep 4 people, although the ladder to get to the loft is steep. The steps to get to the rooms are steep too. It was worth it, though! Very nicely decorated. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, terrific food and service.

Hotel and Restaraunt. Room number 7 - very nice. Had a loft we didn't use. Nice shower and comfy bed. Hard to wheel luggage up to and back down. The owner is an American that lives here in summer. The service was very nice

Stayed here with a friend for one night in beautifully restored rooms - I stayed in Room 5 and a restaurant that was a mix of rustic charm and modern lighting. The restaurant was terrific - excellent food, great ambiance and very good service.

The room was a very good size, bright & sunny the bathroom, was well equipped and one of the best showers we had on our France road trip. The view was lovely from our window. We had aircon, wifi & a comfy bed. It was a bit of a steep path to get into the accommodation, but not too bad....

We went here with our daughter who is 7. The three of us had a fantastic meal, she had the children's menu which was fish and fantastic ice cream to follow, we had the 4 course surprise menu with wine pairings. Couldn't fault the food, atmosphere or the service. We will be going back! Yum.

We stayed here for one night en route to the Dordogne with our teenaged son. Great family room in the refurbished part of the hotel - very sympathetic restoration, beautiful large clean room tastefully decorated with a comfy bed for us; ladder leading up to mezzanine floor with another double bed and chest of drawers for my son. Staff were...

We had a restful overnight stop on the way to Spain. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms had everything required. Rather strangely check-in only after 1800. Dinner was good - we had the surprise menu which we recommend. Didn't have breakfast after reading reviews, two boulangeries nearby.

This charming hotel in Luynes was absolutely lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant wa delicious. You can take the Demi pension. The town is charming. There is a market on Saturday morning. It made a good base for our travels to sites near Saumer.
