We stayed here for 5nights in a twin share as queen rooms were booked out. Room was lovely and simple with microwave and kettle etc. Great location which is across the road from wonderful shops and resturants. Quiet main road and parking outside room. Housekeeping came everyday with new towels (were not really necessary but wonderful to see their cleaniness). Reception staff were beauitful and mannered while providing information for sightseeing. Good price for accommodation close to the Peninsula.
Short drive to HMAS Cerberus (not even 5 minutes by car). Friendly couple run the motel. Room is very basic but comfortable. TV stated all TV stations were tuned in but only local TV station was programmed. Breakfast was delivered to room on time and was presentation was good. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Towels were on small size. If you want a comfortable family style accommodation just for overnight and need to be near the Navy base this is the place but if you want longer I would recommend going into Hastings or Frankston.
We had to travel to our son's graduation at Cerberus and chose to stay here. The place was really tidy with plenty of room. The owner couldn't have been any nicer and it was only minutes from where we had to go. I would def recommend this place to anyone.
We were disappointed with this motel. The water pressure is low and goes from hot to warm without warning. The air conditioner is an old "in window" unit that is extremely noisy. The setting and management are both very nice but that is about where it ends. Look elsewhere.
First thing I noticed when I arrived was how peaceful the place is, with pretty flowering gardens. I was greeted at reception by Frank, who's friendly smile was very warm & welcoming. My family & I travelled down from Sydney for my sons graduation from the Navy & motor inn is a short drive from HMAS Cerberus which was a definite bonus for us. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights & I must say we were impressed. The place had a nice "home" atmosphere about it. Both rooms were very clean, tidy & had a nice clean smell about them. There were extra pillows & blankets if required, iron, tea making facilities, BBQ area, air con, TV & DVD player.
