Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.

A group of four of us stayed three nights, in adjacent rooms. We loved the amenities, the location, the view from our rooms on the 19th floor and the nicely decorated, spacious rooms. The only let-down was the bathroom. There was no space on the basin to put our toiletries. We re

Standard hotel with a great price. Next to the Asakusa Tx line (which runs to Akihabara), 8 minutes to the Nearest Ginza line station and 13 minutes to the JR station (past Nakamise street).
Overall good value for money.

Although the room was a little cramped, I really enjoyed this hotel. They provide you 2 free bottled waters every day and even leave a cell phone in your room for you to take with you in case you want to use it while exploring the city. There is plenty to do nearby including a ve

This hotel is well situated in the Asakusa area, close to public transport options for access to other parts of Tokyo and beyond. The hotel room itself was comfortable and well maintained. There was an extensive / impressive breakfast buffet. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Is there a counter for Airport Limo Bus to purchase tickets in Asakusa View Hotel Since the Airport Limo Bus stops in front of the hotel?

What is the closest JR station to the hotel? I need to reserve seats using my Japan Rail Pass and I understand that I need to do it at a JR station ticket window (and not at Haneda Airport). Thanks.
It's also good to point out that the closest stations are indeed Asakusa and Tawaramachi but these are metro stations, not JR train stations. And of course there's another Asakusa station - the one next door to hotel is a Tsukuba Express station while the other one (a bit further, behind Senso-ji site) is on the orange "G" metro line just like Tawaramachi. (I get a weird feeling that while I'm trying to clarify I just end up being more confusing :)

How much do they charge for an early check in - say 12.30pm instead of 3.00pm?
They don’t do early check in or late check out. I tried both and was told that the hotel was full and they could not accommodate me.

Hi, are the "Superior Twin Room City Views" smoking or non smoking rooms? On your website, if it does not say "non smoking", then does that mean it's a smoking room? Thank you.
I’ve read from previous answers that the entire 12th floor are all smoking rooms.
