Best thing about this are the staff who are really friendly and welcoming. They are at the bar each night where you can get a free drink and get great advice on where to go and what to do. Facilities are very good, though no...More

I definitely recommend staying at Toco in Tokyo. My friend and I stayed for three nights in March 2017, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff are warm and accommodating, and the space is pure magic. Also, you absolutely cannot beat the price....More

You'll find Toco's beautiful heritage building tucked down a quiet lane near Ueno and Asakusa neighborhoods. The front is a trendy neighborhood bar, and the rooms are in the back in the renovated traditional Japanese house. (This is one of few left in Tokyo; Toco...More

      Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
