The hotel is very close to the JR Sobu line and Toei Asakusa line. The Keisei express to and from Narita airport stops at the Asakusabashi station (except the limited express trains, in which case you have to make an easy transfer at Oshiage station). The rooms are small, but functional. I am very tall (6' 5") and had no...

This hotel was exactly what we were expecting. The area is nice and quiet and we enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of inner Tokyo. The room was small just like any Japanese hotel room. There is a local train line 1 mins walk away and a JR line about 10mins walk away. There is a restaurant that...

very professional staff. room was actually "spacious" (we got the one with two single beds and skytree view). only kink was that they didn't accommodate a request to make a reservation with a restaurant. perhaps this wasn't part of the hotel's service. overall, excellent stay though.

We liked this hotel, it has a good location in a nice neighbourhood and easily within reach of public transport. they do however have a late check-in which i belive was 15:00 and we arrived after 24 hours of travelling and had to wait for three hours to check in. Very comfortable western style rooms. Tremendous bargain price for what you get. Perhaps 30 meters N of Asakusabashi, with a Metro entrance on the corner. Great toiletries. If you are on a budget, Hotel Mystays Asakusa-bashi is the answer. Walking distance from nearest JR Station. One station away from Akihabara (Electric Center). Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
