Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

We stayed for 2 nights. We wanted to stay in a transitional Japanese accommodation at the start of our 10 nights trip. What a fantastic place! We arrived about 10:30am and were able to leave our luggages at the hotel, leaving us free to travel around. When we came back to

This small hotel was a delight for our arrival in Tokyo. Rooms were very large, clean, and traditional in style, though we did have a very comfortable Western-style bed to sleep in. Staff were especially courteous and helpful, very patient with helping with directions. The hotel

Hello. This is a receptionist of Takemine. Thank you for the question. We would like to accept it, the standard room with 5 persons in total. And additional bedding, Japanese futon mats, will be offered 2 maximum. But I really want you to know 2 things. Firstly, we only offer amenities for adults, which means we cannot provide that of for children. Secondly, if you make a booking as for two adults, it costs you additional charge for children's breakfast (800 yen per 1) if you are in need. Finally, I ask for your cooperation, leaving some comments about the members you include on a reservation's remarks column. I hope this is helpful for your trip. Much appreciated. Have a good day.

Hello. How are you? This is a manager of Ryokan Takemine. Let me answer to your question. There are a few ways to get here. For example, train, taxi, and limousine bus. Now firstly, here's the detailed information below in case you get on the train; Haneda Airport/羽田空港 ↓ ↓ --- Keikyu Express/京急線 (15min) ↓ Shinagawa Station/品川駅 ↓ ↓ --- JR Yamanote Line/JR 山手線 (30min) ↓ Takadanobaba Sta./高田馬場駅 ↓ ↓ --- Seibu-Shinjuku Line/西武新宿線 (2min) ↓ Shimo-ochiai Sta./下落合駅 (Please go out from the north entrance/北口) To sum up, it takes 1 hour roughly including walking. And It costs you around 900 yen per person. ※Please make sure to get on the local service train from Takadanobaba Sta. because once you take the express service, it will pass through Shimo-ochiai Sta. The second route is by hopping on the limousine bus. From the airport, you are head for Shinjuku Station first which costs you 1,230 yen per person. You can take train or taxi to get to Shimo-ochiai. By train, you have to transfer at Takadanobaba Sta. And by taxi, it will be 30 minutes and 1,500 yen. Finally, if you catch a taxi from the airport to Takemine, it costs you 8,500 yen roughly. And takes time about 1 hour. I hope this information is helpful for you. Thank you so much. Have a nice day.
