Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

This hotel has a very good quality-price range. It is located close to the Shinjuku tourist area (around 10 minutes walking distance). Next to the hotel there is a subway entrance for 2 metro lines, which makes it very convenient. The room is enough for one person, but for two

We stayed here again because it was great the last time we visited in April 2016. We stayed her twice in 2016 because we arrived in Tokyo just to stay overnight before taking the Shinkansen to Hiroshima early the next morning, and returned for the last 3 days before leaving for

The room was small but it was plenty enough for one person. I had room for my suitcase on the stand and I was still able to get around. . Breakfast was great. It had some options for Asian patrons and ones from Western countries. The hotel is right next to a subway entrance so

Very bad business practices. There was confusion with the dates on our booking because of the +1 day difference from US-Tokyo Upon checking in we were told we would be charged for 2 nights and this was their policy. While trying to sort this out at the check in desk another

Rooms are tiny. Location isn't great, kinda far out. The hotel is very clean and quiet with nice staff. The breakfast downstairs is decent enough. It is About 15 min walk to the main area of Shinkjuku.

Based on what I read from your question you are new to Shinjuku Station which they say is the busiest train station in the world so finding the right exit while navigating the ocean of moving bodies might be overwhelming. I recommend you exit the JR gate and turn your google map on (I hope you have data service on your cellphone or tablet) for directions to the hotel. You may not be able to follow ever step but at least it points you in the right direction which is the east side of the station, and better yet the northeast side. Once you get out to the street level it is an easy walk to the hotel. If you dare, you can exit the Shinjuku Sta. JR gate, walk to the Ōedo Line Shinjuku-Nishiguchi Sta (exit B14) and go one stop to the Higashi-Shinjuku Sta (exit B2) and you exit the station at street level and walk south about 30m to the lobby door of the hotel. One of the reasons we love this hotel is its proximity to this station and how it makes travel to other parts of Tokyo easier by bypassing Shinjuku Sta.

You can come out of the East exit of Shinjuku station (opposite the Studio Alta building). The hotel is about a fifteen minute walk north-east from here, it should be pretty easy to find looking at a map. From the East exit, head right until coming to the next main street where the Isetan department store is located on the corner, then turn left and continue north for a short while. The hotel will be on the right hand side.
