Perfectly placed just a minutes walk from Nishi-Shinjuku metro stop. Small room but perfectly clean and serviceable. 15 minutes walk to Shinjuku station and all the bright lights! Close to a Family Mart (good for cheap snacks!)

10 minute walk from Shinjuku station and the commercial street. Nice clean hotel with small rooms, free Wi-Fi. Good breakfast both Japan and Western style. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Beside the hotel is Nishi-Shinjuku subway station. The JR circular line is also 10 minutes away.

A good budget hotel, it said small double bed and it was accurate so no problems. Clean and helpful staff. The location was good and out of the crowds of Shinjuku but close enough to walk to entertainment. Shinjuku good station to catch trains for day trips to outlying areas.

My husband and I stayed here last week for 6 nights. It is a good 15 min walk from the Shinjuku train station. The staff are friendly. Check in was quick. Standard room is very small, no room to move, but this is Japan after all. There is no info in English on how to use either the TV or...

Room was small but typical in Japan. Restaurant facilities average but many eating places of good quality japanese style nearby. Minimarts nearby and open all hours, Staff friendly and breakfast catering both japanese and western cuisine. Great location within walking distance to Shinjuku railway station and shopping centre

The Hotel: Considering I paid as much for this hotel as I did for the Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, I expected it to be a bit nicer. The breakfast buffet was just "okay" and not worth the price. (I think it was like $35 USD for two.) I wouldn't bother eating at the hotel restaurant for dinner, if breakfast is...

The hotel is in a great location, near the Shinjuku station which is a major hub for many of the lines. It also has a lot of restaurant options. The room is typical Japanese small but it felt fine for my semi double room (I think it was a full bed) and it was just me in the room so...

We were budget travellers and found this Hotel. It was a great experience beginning to end. We found our triple room was extremely spacious, the bathroom was sensational, with the shower having its' own room. The bathrooms were bigger than normal Japanese bathrooms. The beds were comfy and room was tidy. It isn't 'luxury'', but it certainly is a great...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
