Can only say good things about this hotel: luxury from start to finish. One of the best places we stayed in. Amazing buffet breakfast, fantastic spa, huge rooms, lovely amenities. The service is 5 star. Loved it all!

Park Hyatt is the archetype of a perfect hotel. The staff are exceptional. The rooms are spacious, spotless and wonderful. The views are phenomenal. This was by far the best hotel I have ever had the fortune to stay in, I cannot wait to return and would strongly encourage others to shell out!

We stayed at a deluxe room for a total of 6 nights in May, leaving after 3 nights for a week and then coming back. The impeccable service started the moment we arrived. We hired a private car transfer but the moment the car pulled to the front of the hotel, the staff knew our names and that we were...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and we tried to take advantage of every amenity. The view from our room, as well as the iconic New York Bar, was stunning. We particularly enjoyed happy hour in the Peak Lounge, which includes a lovely selection of canapes. It's a very elegant hotel with great service, but is beginning...

From the moment you arrive at the Park Hyatt, until the second you leave, the service at the Park Hyatt is better than can be imagined. There is no check in counter - even arriving with a small group, they were swift and accommodating - with an agent accompanying each of us to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and...

As a fan of the movie Lost In Translation, I knew as soon as we booked our trip to Tokyo that we would stay at The Park Hyatt. The attention to detail and customer service are what really set this hotel apart. I emailed with the concierge team a couple months before our stay and they worked to secure our...

Good check-in service. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bag took ages to be delivered to room but staff was extremely apologetic. Internet access was amazing available everywhere and are at super high speed (all hotels should promote no throttling like Hyatt !!)

Just had a four night stay here at Park Hyatt Tokyo. All the staff we encountered were very respectful and kind towards us, even when I was sick, they asked after me making sure I was well. Truly the best hotel stay we've ever had. Couldn't fault it. The gym is incredible on the 47th floor; the views are breathtaking....

We spent 4 nights here and this was the end of our Japan holiday. The service is great. From the moment you step inside the hotel everything is taken care of. The people are very friendly. Checkin was a very positive procedure. They take the time and everything is arranged. They have a solution and answer for every question you...

Park Hyatt Tokyo's concierge service is second to none. Despite a travel glitch on my end, they were able to follow through and confirm a dinner reservation I had arranged through their services. Special commendations go out to Aki and Ryoko--you guys are stars!

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
