As per Japanese standard the rooms were a decent size, the view was amazing as well, good thing about this hotel was that most of the staff spoke English which is hard to find in some places in Japan however they usually try hard to help you, we had a great time here and didn't have any issues with check...

This is definitely a five star property in a business area. The room was large, had a nice view, and was impeccably clean. We arrived around 11am after a cruise and could not check in till 2pm. This is not unusual for hotel but we have found very few who would not accommodate an early check-in. By 2 pm the...

Compared to other Hyatt in Tokyo, the room was quite small, but this staff was magnificent- way better than one of Tokyo's Hyatt hotels. They were friendly with excellent agility. Always smile and always caring. Room was spotless. Amenity was minimal but enough. The shuttle bus between Shinjuku station and hotel sounded running frequently (we didn't use though). A bell...

It's all just OK. Nothing overly special, nothing scary wrong. The room was clean and simple. The check-in and out was perfectly fine. The 2 restaurants I ate at (Japanese breakfast & morning buffet) were all fine. I really have nothing poor or negative to say. I think if they did a little more upgrading to their rooms that I...

We got the corner king room and it's the biggest room I've ever got in Japan for this price. We even got to see mt Fuji from one of our windows. It's about 14 minutes walk to the shinjuku station, so it's not far from it.

The rooms were clean and modern. The bathroom was nice and they provided free toiletries on a daily basis. The location was ideal practically next to the Tokyo Government building and a nice park. There was a 7-11 next to the hotel which was super convenient for quick food and drink items. There was a free shuttle bus that ran...

We traveled to Tokyo on a family vacation and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large enough, bed and baths were nice. We enjoyed the club lounge for breakfast and evening cocktails. It's a walk to the trains or subways but they have a nice airport shuttle. Overall- would stay again.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
