Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a ski trip. Hotel is pretty centrally located, 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station (be warned: world's busiest station!). Rooms are small, but comfortable and well equipped (bath, shower, hair-drier, yakuta etc). The hotel bars and restaurants are very expensive: ¥1,200 (£9) for a small beer. Better off heading...

This hotel caters to large tourist groups and conventions. We stayed here as part of a post cruise experience with Holland America. It has no charm or sense of place and the rooms can be generously described as bland. The property is well located in town but do not stay here if you are traveling independently. You'll get run over...

This is an excellent hotel for several reasons. Excellent city centre location near Shinjiku district. Hotel rooms very good and the bed was super comfortable. Great shower pressure and incredible heated toilet seat. Lots of towels. Concierge will deliver iron to room. Breakfast was excellent with either Japanese or western options. For western options great omelettes or fried Bk available....

The hotel is consider quite near to the station and it has a shelter tunnel that links to it. Convenient to travel from airport to hotel. Arrived in Haneda Airport and took a bus which drops off directly at the hotel lobby. The main reason that i chose this hotel is because they have a free shuttle bus service to...

Transportation from the airport is provided to this hotel which enabled us to choose this hotel for our stay in Tokyo. This hotel is conveniently located next to a train station which is walking distance. The staff were great and attentive. The bed sheets weren't comfortable but overall had a pleasant stay.

Probably the travel agent chose Keio Plaza since we came in a big group. Nothing's wrong with the hotel, but the distance to shopping is a bit far. The only complaint is our check-in process. Our group of four came earlier than the big group. The hotel refused to check us in even though they saw our names. The only...

Stayed at the Keio Plaza for a total of 3 nights last week. Booked the first two nights via a global hotel booking website and the third by phone direct with the hotel hoping for a cheaper rate. Upon check in, discovered they had booked us in for the wrong night on our return visit. The problem with booking direct...

We were so glad we chose this hotel. The location was perfect for making the most of three days in Tokyo. Very close to the trains making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Our room was large by Tokyo standards, very clean and comfortable. We even had a distant view of Mt. Fuji. Don't pass up the free...

We stayed in this hotel to try out their new Premier Grand Club Lounge located on the 45th floor. The new lounge was just opened on December 2016. Take note that you had to get a Premier GRAND Room in order to have access to this new lounge. There are also other Premier rooms (without the "GRAND") which have access...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
