Location is quite convenient as it is near eateries and the train station. Room is spacious even with 3 beds placed in the room. Service from the front desk is average, however, the staff from housekeeping were friendly and warm.

I stayed with my family (wife, 8yo and 4yo) over XMAS 2016 for 4 nights. As you would have read, the location of this hotel is excellent. Once you have your bearings it is a quick walk to Shinjuku station and many different restaurant and bar areas. Its excellent for that. The rooms are sizable and are well maintained. Yes,...

When I walked into Keio Plaza, it instantly felt the hotel 'was a bit big for its boots.' The line to check in was lengthy and the process to check in was long. They insisted in escorting all visitors to their room which is not necessary. However eventually I got to my room. As it was the New Years, it...

Fantastic hotel! Great customer service. Great location especially if going on a Mount Fuji tour as the tours depart from here. The subway station and train station are within walking distance. Plenty of eateries in the stations and a number of restaurants in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Big spacious Rooms. (Of course with a high price ) Location. Cons: Very busy hotel. Doesn't feel like 5 stars. Service very mechanical Cannot make ANY request. The way it is, is the way it's going to be. Very abrupt and almost rude staff. Very unhelpful staff.

Stayed for three nights with two teens. Easy to find from Shinjuku station (there are signs in English), we walked there with the assistance of "moving walks" to make it easier with bags (although they were closed on way back). We were checked in a little earlier than expected and were provided with a free upgrade to a slightly larger...

The set up of the room is a Japanese house tea, peaceful, warm and tranquility, made me felt welcome and relaxed. Yano tea master explained in details and the meaning of every part of the items, position and movements. The quality of the tea was good, its powder not leaf. Yano was awesome. I recommend this place for the tea...

The Keio Plaza was very close to shopping, entertainment and eating areas. A short walk to Shinjuku and the subway was a big plus. The triple room was plenty big enough and tastefully decorated. The decor modern and a view of Mount Fuji a real plus - see photo. The staff were very helpful.

I had been highly recommended to this hotel by a friend. I had understood that it had been extensively refurbished and therefore I was expecting a modern, updated room, especially because I had booked a Club Room. I stayed in a Club Room in the South Tower on the 29th floor. The room certainly was dated, with marks on the...

We stayed at the Keio plaza hotel for one night on the way back out of Tokyo. Family of five we got a triple and twin room. Triple was good size with single beds. Twin had two singles in a pretty small room. Don't jump in bathroom if over 6 ft. restaurants on level 2 were varied. Super buffet was...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
