Love this hotel! Short walk to the busiest part of shinjuku where all the entertainment and restaurants and shopping is at. There's bus stop 50 steps away and subway couple blocks away too if you want to go somewhere further, super convenient. There are also 7-11, Yoshinoya and some other restaurants like 200 feet away from the hotel. The hotel...

We had a corner room on the back side of the hotel, it was quiet and quite comfortable. Everything is within walking distance, i.e., large super market, Starbucks, many restaurants, huge park, train station, department stores etc. the staff was very helpful as well. There is a small gym and laundry facilities also.

Easy for parking if you are going to rent a car in Tokyo. They have own car park and nearby also have public car park too. And near the subway station too. And many restaurants near the hotel. Also have 24 hours restaurant too. FYI, the hotel provide bottle of water on first day only. We need to buy extra...

It is located in a quite neighborhood. Room was big enough for me and my family. There's free wifi. You can use the laundry machine and tumble dryer for 400 yen. There is also kitchen so you can opt to cook your own food. Personnel are nice although I think at times when I see people at the reception they...

Kitchen equipment can be cooked at any time cooking food, there is a large supermarket on the street, very convenient. It is about 5 minutes walk from subway station and is very close to Shinjuku Gyoen Garden. Hotel counter staff is proficient in English, communication is very smooth.

Good location for a reasonable price and the room size isn't bad at all compared to most of the rooms in Tokyo. Would rated a four but one morning the (false) fire alarm went off and on and off and on for almost an hour starting at 5am. Too bad on managements part.

I sent an email to Citadines Shinjuku for a purchase request of birthday cake delivery to my friend's room. They didn't have matcha flavor so they offered to just make a birthday dessert/fruit platter for her! They even wrote a special message as per my instruction! I was so kindly and thoughtfully assisted by Aoi Aoki (also Naomi & Kim)...

A quick 5 minutes walk from the train station, this hotel is an excellent choice! Pros: Located in the exciting and vibrant Shinjuku area yet away from the chaos of the center, it is a quiet location within walking distance to must see sights and a short 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Room is a great size and...

Small but comfortable. Received daily room service. Huge window with a view. Great customer service. Reception available until late. Daily buffet breakfast available which was reasonably priced. On site laundrette, coin operated. Vending machine for simple drinks like iced coffee, water and juice. Apartment had a fully stocked kitchenette with a microwave and a small bar fridge. This is a short walk from the Shinjuku station, has lots of restaurants nearby and the kitchenette kept our costs down. Seven-eleven is right next door so it was easy to stock up on food. Staff was really friendly- watched our luggage, helped get a cab etc.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

“I don't know with anybody but I loved our room with the street view. Maybe Citadines has a good sound-proofing system, I couldn't hear any horking or noises from the street. But we were on the 11th floor so maybe that was also a factor. ”
