We stayed here for 6 nights and the room is large compared to other rooms in Tokyo. We booked into room 1010 and had twin beds. The beds were clean and very comfortable. There is a spare pillow in the cupboard which was needed. Room was made up every day around the same time which was nice. The toilet -...

Im fully satisfied with all services. The only concern that i have is, there is no clear guideline on how to operate the televion channel. Which make it difficult for me to watch any channel. The only channel that i manage to get is home shopping channel. 😢

Stayed here for a few days, the room is clean and sufficient.. However quite small - but that's Japan for you! Staff were incredibly friendly. Location was ok.. Perhaps 10 to 15 mins to all the action. Might stay somewhere closer next time.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel which is in a pretty convenient location. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the Shinjuku Station. You walk right along the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden on the way to the station. The hotel staff were very nice and polite and helpful. The room is standard size, adequate and clean. The bathroom is...

it was okay but really nothing stands out. room was quite small. location was okay, about 5 minutes away from main business streets of Shinjuku. the hotel was above a drug store, you need to take elevator or escalator to get to the lobby, and have to change elevator every time when you go in and out.

We were very pleased wit our stay at citadines. The location of the hotel is about 15 mins walk to main shinjuku station. We liked to be a little away from the hustle and bustle as it was quieter but glad it was a short walk away. The rooms are reasonable and great kitchin facilities. We expected a tiny box...

Location is about 5 minutes walk (Nearest metro is Shinjukugyoen-Mae Station) Overall stay is nice and comfortable. Will stay back here again when coming back to Tokyo next time / visit :) Disadvantages: 1) Room have only two pillow. 2) After Housekeeping done, no replace / refill "complimentary" bottles of minerals automatic.

Stayed here for three nights at the end of our Japanese adventure. Good sized room. Great staff. Very clean and has everything you need. Powerful shower and big deep bath. Close to everything. Comfortable bed. We were up on the 9th floor and it was super quiet. Kitchen facilities provided for. I loved this place.

We had a great stay at Citadines Tokyo apartment/hotel. It is located in Shinjuku an inner suburb and is close to metro stations, shops, cafes and restaurants. The area has a good vibe and the eateries range from simple small establishments to more upmarket places. Local Japanese, as everywhere in Tokyo, we found very helpful.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
