I stayed Hotel the Vintage Shin-juku one night on business from Osaka. Location and Accommodation was more fine than I imagined as many visitors say. Room including bed and sanitary was a little bit small, but clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk to Kabuki-cho area so you can be back easily to the hotel. I must recommend to foreigners as...

The room was tiny. We could barely open two large luggage at the same time which made packing rather challenging. Other than that, it was quite functional with basic amenities provided but not suitable for long stays. The smoking room was not a good option because we could hardly smoke in the room because the ventilation was quite bad. The...

It's conveniently located at Shinjuku. About 5 to 10 mins walk through Kabuchiko. There's many restaurants around the area so there's no need to worry about getting hungry. Coin laundry is about 5mins away. There's many Korean restaurants on the way to the coin laundry. Coin laundry is open from 6am to 11pm. You can purchase washing powder from the...

Very reasonable price with a walkable distance to Shinjuku JR station. Alots of restaurant surrounding the hotel. Small supermarket or big department stores just near within 10mins. It's clean, have individual washroom and free wifi.

When I told my japanese friend that i booked a double room in central Shinjuku (Kabuki-Cho) for 10250 yen/night (70€) he just couldn't believe me. For this price i was prepeared for a crap business hotel but felt finally relieved after stepping into Vintage. As asked in my booking email we got a non-smoking double room that was spotless clean...

Just outside the centre of Shinjuku to the Northeast. Within walking distance to Shinjuku station. It's called Vintage for a reason! The decor is pretty ancient and the aircon barely functions. Easily one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. The rooms are pretty small even for Japan (just able to open my suitcase on the floor next...

Pretty good choice for anyone staying in Shinjuku. The room is small, but typical for a Japanese hotel. The staff were great with English. They'll keep your bags for you if you need to check in or check out early, which is really nice. The WiFi signal isn't the strongest, but it was really nice to have. Location is great....

We stayed there for 6 nights and we enjoyed it! We have two people so they gave us a room with two single beds, the washroom is clean and the staff are very kind. I liked the location because it is very close to the station and although the area is known as the "red light district" I felt safe...

It got really small rooms. We have three people going and wanted to upgrade our room to fit us all but their rooms are so small that we have to have two rooms instead. But they have got everything in that small room, modern tv, fridge, heater, the bathroom is very clean. Great for its price

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
