Hotel is quite nice and has everything a hotel suppose to have. Not sure if they gave me the correct room (505) but the bed was rather small for 2 person. The soap and shampoo provided was better than other countries hotel that I have been to. Not sure if it is norm in Japan. Neighbourhood was rather seedy which...

Large room comparing with other compact hotels in Tokyo. Old hotel located in the clubs area but without issues, near all restaurants and some with 24hrs. 15-20mins walk to JR. Well equipped but only not in a modern fancy design. Good to stay in a budget.

The hotel itself is nice and affordable (Less than USD$100). It is also walking distance to the Shinjuku Robot Restaurant and there are nice shops, bars and restaurants galore. However, when it gets late, there are hustlers at literally every corner of the streets nearby. I guess it's OK if that's what one is after but I guess for the...

Fantastic! This is the only word I can describe about Shirakawago. Don't miss this spot if you happen to come to Takayama. Love this place so much and will definitely make another trip again and spend a night during winter.

Despite it's in the middle of Kabukicho 2-chome, amazingly quiet. The best part is superb Japanese breakfast costs only 500 yen and it comes with grilled fish, salad, side dish and desert. The room is spacious for the price.

What a pleasant hotel. But as mentioned, it's in the midst of Kabikicho, which is an interesting place, but it just makes me feel unsafe walking through the streets at night. Hotel is awesome, with good wifi, clean facilities, and awesome toiletries for use. Staff were all amazing and friendly. They didn't speak much english but a lady could speak...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
