I stayed in the same type of room in 3 different hotels in Tokyo, and this one was by far the biggest and for the same price as the others. It couldn't be better located, being by both the Shinjuku stations, food options, above a market... really fantastic location. We were there for two morning earthquakes (7+ near Fukushima, so... The thing to remember when selecting this hotel is that it is in the heart of Kabukicho, so be aware that there is significant street noise if your room is on the main strip side, which can still be heard on the higher levels (our room was on the 12th floor), there are many neighboring bars and even though touting... The hotel is located around 5 mins walk from Shinjuku station and close to Robo dance restaurant for those who are interested. The rooms are very decent better than APA but smaller than Marriott. You have space to keep your luggage a small sofa and sleep. The breakfast is decent. You have lot of people around the area who sell... More

I stayed there for 4 nights with my wife. Great location although, a little far from the Subway station but in the heart of Shinjuku area. Room was a little small but very clean and new. Staff were outstanding ( as in most of Japan). Very good value for money.

The hotel is located about 8-10 mins away from Shinjuku train station. We took a cab from Shinjuku station to the hotel after alighting the airport limo bus. If walking underground, try to go towards the direction where Kabukicho/Shinjuku City Office is located (Exit 15B). Keep the Japanese hotel name and address handy in case you need to ask for... Our recent stay in Citadines Central Shinjuku was okay, and it is quite near the Shinjuku station. The area is good since it is easy access to many shopping malls and restaurants. Nothing exceptional about the room. Staff were accommodating. Would recommend due to proximity of train station, shopping malls and restaurants.

Clean and convenient hotel, close to Shinjuku station and the main attractions of the district. The area is full of great restaurants and cafes. The stuff is very polite and helpful. Good value per price.

Booked this after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. Room very small, breakfast ok, lunch buffet ok, staff helpful, facilities clean. Not for business meetings. If you need a in and out place this is ideal. Central to one of the main train/underground station that will get you everywhere. Good choice for the price/location

The hotel is located in a very central place in Shinjuku area and about 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, only a little small. Very helpful staff with good English.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
