Easy access to Shinjuku station, so the Narita Express takes you right to the hotel. The Shinjuku station has many subway lines so it's a great base for see Tokyo. Our room had a nice view and was a good sized room. The hotel starts on the 20th floor, so it's very quiet despite being right above the trains. Very...

Walking distance to the very busy shinjuku station and Takashimaya Times Square. Great view from the room. Lobby is a bit on the small side and very dull. Not enough seats for guests. The room is small which is expected for tokyo's hotels. The luggage transfer service was confusing and the staff were not able to speak English. No concierge....

Our stay at Hotel Century Southern Tower was very enjoyable. The location was perfect, right next to a large train station and walking distance from many restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and much larger than anything we have ever experienced in Tokyo. The rooms are well planned, clean, and have an amazing view of the city. The wifi throughout...

The Hotel Century Southern Tower is in a great location, right in the area of the bustling Shibuya area with its amazing shopping and hundreds of restaurants. First time staying here after my usual hotel had slipped & provided some disappointing stays. Pleasingly this hotel has made a great first impression. Their proximity to Shinjuku station was a massive plus, especially if arriving from the airport by train, or if you want to get out explore via the train network. For me was also only a 10-min...

We took a bus from the airport to Shinjuku area and used Google Map to try to locate the hotel. Had a little difficulty but with a little luck we managed to find the hotel after about a 10-minute walk. The hotel entrance is different from what we used to see when we stayed at other hotels. It doesn't really...

First of all, location cannot be any better, train station and subway is right next, shopping malls, restaurants are cross the street or bridge, shuttle bus from Haneda airport will stop at hotel front (need to ask airport staff which shuttle line to go), to navigate the big city from here is suddenly super easy. Hotel lobby is at 20th...

This was the best hotel I could have imagined staying at! We loved this place so much and thought it was an excellent value for the money! We stayed 5 nights and wish we could have stayed even more. Location - perfect. Walking distance to a countless number of restaurants, bars, activities, parks, convenient stores and anything else you could...

Firstly, no one as far as i have read mentioned about the hotel entrance. I took a limousine bus from Haneda airport (45 mins) and it stops directly at the hotel. Upon arrival, i could not find the hotel entrance or lobby. Do not go through the front doors and up the escalators but instead as you are standing facing...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
