A nice Hotel that fits both business and private needs. A short walk (10 min) from the very busy Shibuya station, through narrow streets to the quiet area of the hotel. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. We got to check in before the check-in time after explaining our jet-lag issues. The rooms were small but fit the...

This was a great home base in the Shibuya area for exploring Tokyo. Employees were friendly and helpful. Of special note--a gentleman at the front desk contacted the JR office to locate a bag lost in a train and arrange for delivery to the hotel. I just couldn't have asked for better service. We stayed in 3 other hotels during...

First checking into the hotel I was a little shocked that they wanted to make a photo copy of my passport...  -the receptionist will give u a map of the area on request. -lady that checked me in did not understand English well -walls are thin, can hear ppl in the other room -the bed was surprisingly soft, slept good...

Stayed for my first trip to Japan. the hotel is marvellous, comfy beds, many amenities and friendly English speaking staff. Just a short walk from shibuya station and all the hustle and bustle, but on a quite side street. I recommend this hotel to anyone, as I found it to be the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring...

About 10 minute walk from Shibuya station-- this hotel is just far away to avoid the constant noise but close by to all the comings and goings of the area. Also very close to Yoyogi Park which was great for a morning run! Staff were very friendly and polite. Front desk is always manned and don't forget to leave your...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, the staff is very polite and efficient. The bathroom has good water pressure and temperature and a nice heated seat bidet toilet. It really is a short walk to Shibuya Station, the Scramble, etc. once you figure out how to do it. We asked at the desk...

This hotel is a great location, avg. Size room and bath (for Japan), clean, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Recommended taking a cab to the hotel if you have luggage and it is your first time. Only 790 Yen for the trip. The staff was very helpful in making dinner reservations. I enjoyed the Japanese breakfast every morning. Great location...

I agree with everything Jane T. has said in her review. Getting there from the Shibuya JR station is a little challenge, but easy using the google maps app on your smart phone to plot your path to the hotel. About a 10 to 15 minute walk. Bags with roller wheels are essential. Exit the station from the northerly end;...

The hotel staff was very helpful. The room was clean. It was near all the action and subways but just a few streets away where it is quiet, Convenient store on corner. Tons of places to eat shop and play nearby. Good value for the money.

We had a happy stay at the Creston and would willingly go back for it's comfort, good price and convenient location. It is near Shibuya Station and the Scramble, but as it is on a side street it is well away from the noise and bustle of the huge crowds. I was slightly put off by reviews mentioning a hill...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
